Following our last post about zip-lining at Dunn's River Falls, here's another reason to make the trip from Silver Sands.

This is one of Jamaica's most popular attractions, usually bustling with visitors. But look at it here. Just two people enjoying the waterfalls, practically to themselves!

The secret? Get there when the gates open at 8:30 in the morning.

If you want peace and quiet, it's worth the early start to enjoy the falls before the crowds arrive, with time to take photos and appreciate the surroundings.

One of the best ways to start a morning here is by taking a peaceful walk around to see what’s in bloom. On my last stroll, I decided it was this stunning Royal Poinciana (Flame tree). With over 200 acres, there’s a lot of choice - the beach palms, ackee or maybe soursop growing near your villa.
