Our Favorite Home in Jamaica! We love Shakti!!

We have been visiting Jamaica annually for over 20 years. The last several years we have stayed at Shakti Home. It is a "home" to us in every sense of the word. Aside from its incredible comfort and beauty it has a special feeling no doubt reflecting the owners Nicky and Sharon. The rooms are very sweetly appointed with beautiful and whimsical artwork. The inside blends with the outside in an easy flow---you feel like you are one with the sea and the sand. The staff, Audrey, McCarl and Sonya are part of Shakti and part of what makes it feel like home. We have decided that Audrey is the best cook on the island---and the meals served up at Shakti are a central part of the experience. Every year that we have returned there have been significant upgrades to the house. New floors, new showers, and the biggest recent addition, a plunge pool. Many afternoons spent at the next door cove body surfing followed by a quick shower and a plunge in the pool with a red stripe in hand. Can it get any better? One of my favorite spots---the hammock on the yoga cabana overlooking the sea. Sunsets are stunning! Treasure Beach is one of the best parts of the island and Shakti is by far our favorite place to stay! Book your stay at www.shaktihomeja.comII Thank YOU McCarl and Audrey for doing what you do!

I'm completely in LOVE with our new infinity pool my hubby just built in time for season at Shakti Home. It just can't get any better than this. If you have not booked your getaway to the Villa you have been Dreaming about then you need to do it soon! We are filling up fast! This is heaven on earth. Www.shaktihomeja.com.

"I had a great stay at Shakti Home in early August of this year. Treasure Beach is a gem on the south coast of Jamaica and Shakti is the perfect blend of luxury and low key. I got the most that you could ask for out of a vacation: time to fully disconnect from all the stresses of normal life. I got to unwind with early morning yoga on the deck and mid afternoon naps in the hammock. Then there were some great late nights from which the rum bottle did not escape unscathed. Regardless, I'm still thinking about Macka's delicious Grilled Stuffed Snapper from the next day. The whole team at the house was kind and welcoming as well. Jamaica really doesn't get much better than this"

It always makes my day when SHAKTI HOME gets a review like this. Check out rates and availability below! We are building the coolest pool ever right now too! "Om away from Home". I took that quote from the managers description of Shakti Home, and it's accurate to the point where it should be written over the front door. I stayed at Shakti Home in August while on a two week vacation. I stayed for two nights and wished I could have stayed a lifetime. Everything about my Shakti Home experience was perfect. The staff was so friendly, they made us feel so welcome, and they sure can cook! My bedroom opened up into the garden, with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. And there's a perfect little spot - a deck, for relaxation, yoga, or even just to have your morning coffee. What I miss the most though is probably hearing the sound of waves crashing on the beach as I fell asleep in a hammock tied between two coconut trees. Nothing but peace and tranquility. For now my memories will have to suffice, but I will definitely visit again! Until next time Shakti Home! Namaste"
