Walking distance from a beautiful river and beach. Public transportation to/from Port Antonio or Kingston via Morant Bay. Located near Manchioneal between Port Antonio and Morant Bay, with a friendly local family. Electricity, clean drinkable tap water, shared wc and shower, kitchen available. Very beautiful rain forest surroundings, Reach Falls within walking distance (a good walk though!). A war

m welcome to Miss Bev's Bed & Breakfast! Here's a few tips for your stay with us:

KITCHEN
Feel free to use the fridge in the kitchen for your drinks/food. Breakfast will be served in the morning and dinner in the evening. Let Miss Bev know of any special diets asap. Tap water is drinkable. For drinks and snacks there's Kenisha's shop here on the lane, and bigger grocery stores down the hill on Long Road. BATHROOM
We get nice and cool spring water from the mountains in the shower, no hot water. You might want to bathe before dark, when the water cools down more. We appreciate if you take off your shoes when entering the bathroom, so the floor stays clean. BEDROOM
Please ask if you need an extra sheet in case of cool nights, a towel, or anything else you might be needing. Turn off the lights to save electricity when you don't need it, and lock the door when leaving the room. THINGS TO DO:

NEAR BY
Paqi River - A nice river in the rain forest, 10 minute walk up the hill, good for a refreshing swim. Ennis Bay Beach - 10 minutes walk down the hill, good for swimming but beach area is not maintained so it's in natural state. Reach Falls - Very beautiful water falls, 10 minute drive. Open for visitors Wednesday - Sunday. Ask for BrukUp for a guide to walk up to the natural caves in the river. BrukUp phone 4583507. NIGHTLIFE
Sereta's Bar on the hill for casual drinks and music, Karaoke Wednesdays at the crossing of Long Road, and dancehall nights at Bamboo Stashie in Barhill (15 minute walk), Club Atlantic in Manchioneal. Occasional bigger events, see posters on the road sides. OTHER
Port Antonio - A nice little town for shopping, cash withdrawal and more. Blue Lagoon - Pretty lagoon, good for swimming. Bath - Natural warm mineral Bath in St Thomas. Beaches - Long Bay, Boston Bay, Winnifred, Frenchman's Cove. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Buses run to Port Antonio and Morant Bay (transit for Kingston) during day light (6am to 7pm).
