This Business Professional/Tourist-friendly studio apartment in Montego Bay is just 5minutes from downtown! It is private, clean and cool - there is no AC, as it is simply not needed. It features a personal entrance, small hallway, full bathroom with tub/hot water, and a good sized bed-sitting room with ample closet space containing built-in shelves and a safe. The bed is queen size and boasts a s
uper-comfy, 5star quality, double pillow-top mattress. A powerful fan will keep you cool when necessary. The large balcony however, offers awesome breezes, and the views must be seen to be believed - pictures sincerely do not do them justice! Lush vegetation and tree-tops immediately surround the balcony, where you can see and listen to the birds in the day (and hear the crickets at night) while mountains, the entire city and the ocean lays sprawled below. Watch sail-boats, yachts and cruise ships in the harbour, and planes as they come in for a landing . . . your continual reminder that you have reached your destination already! Jamaica . . . tropical heaven! The balcony extends past the guest studio to the landlord/host`s apartment, and wraps around the end in an L-shape. As your host, I use only the short bottom end, giving you ample privacy in a very large outside space. Chairs, lounger and ashtray are supplied for view-gazing, sun-worshiping and smoking, respectively! The rate is $39US/nite for the first person; an additional $10/nite for the 2nd; plus $5/nite for the 3rd person (single air-mattress bed suitable for child). While the studio does not have a `full` kitchen, a fridge with separate freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee-maker allows you to prepare your own continental breakfast, keep cool drinks and ice on hand at all times, and store fruits, veggies, sandwich/salad ingredients, etc. For an additional fee of $5/day, a 2-burner hotplate and other items necessary to cook/clean up after simple meals can be provided.
