The sea and stony beach is only 10 minute walk away and it was so calm and lovely today. Great swim!!

Generally quiet times here at the Casa as we have days a week of lockdown in Jamaica. This is one of the best places on earth to be, weather wise hot and the middle of hurricane season, see some go past as well as Grace which blew, and rained and knocked the trees, power and cable lines down for a couple of days. Then Ida passed over with four days of rain, a little breeze. Now it's the beginning of September and still hot, and sunny again, yay! At Anjahli's Casa, there are a few beds for rent on a weekly rate if Jamaica is calling you.

The weather is perfect this time of year, clear sky with warm sun and a little breeze. Mango season has started so you'll see kids chewing on seeds. They usually gather at sunset for a high spirited football game just up the road.

Super great visitors for a couple weeks. A youth from New York is here with family to clear some land in the Orange Bay area so he's employing a lot of local workers. Just great to have them here.

Casa de Rasta is a quiet place to stay just off the main road. The temperature this time of year is lovely - 79 F or 25 C. We are on 8 pm to 5 am lockdown in Jamaica.
