قلعة العقبة – Aqaba Fort

تعود أصول قلعة العقبة إلى عهد السلطان المملوكي قنصوه الغوري (1501–1517م)، وقد شكّلت عبر التاريخ محطة مهمة للحجاج وثكنة عسكرية خلال العهدين المملوكي والعثماني.
تقع القلعة على ساحل البحر الأحمر وتحمل على بوابتها الرئيسية الشعار الهاشمي، في دلالة على مكانتها التاريخية في الأردن.
