❂ This remote valley hidden in colored sands of Biblical Land of Edom (Wadi Rum, Jordan) layered with six thousands years of human history - there are Thamudic inscriptions in five minutes walk, we guide scrambled trips to the mountaintops and willing to share with guests bits of our knowledge about local flora, rocks and history.

❂ With three hundred sunny days a year and billion stars - we have no neighbors and light pollution in 3 km radius. At summer time tents and beds under stars are available for stargazers and we make Arabic coffee at sunrise. Air balloon flights, jeep and camel tours can be arranged from the camp.

What’s Malakot?

​We are a tiny family of a local Bedouin, his Russian wife, Arabian hund and her offsprings, Silly cat and Me-messy goat flock. All of us live and build and in Malakot Inn located at a quiet and isolated valley of Wadi Rum. Jafar spent most of his life in the desert and the history of his family deeply rooted in red sands. Virtuous off-road driver, he settled up and built the whole place from scratch trying to make it as eco-friendly as possible still moving towards self-sustainability and comfort. July fell in love with Wadi Rum sands, turned goat barbecue to #kozza_milk_bar and able to talk non-stop about goats and other fauna (and humans), flora and rocks of the surroundings.
