يقع المخيم في محافظة الطفيلة في منطقة البربيطة على سيل الحسا ويبعد عن الطريق الملوكي السياحي خمسة كيلو متر بالإضافة لذلك فان موقع المخيم يقع على مسار درب الاردن السياحي وهو مسار تم تحديده من قبل وزارة السياحة لمحبي المغامرات والمسارات الطويلة hiking , كما يذكر انه لتلك المنطقة أهمية تاريخية من ايام الاحتلال الروماني لجنوب الاردن عام 109 ميلادي حيث كان الأغنياء والأرستقراطيون من الرومان يأتون للاس
تجمام والعلاج في تلك المنطقة كما يذكر ان هرقل الروم كان يتعالج في تلك المنطقة , ويذكر في التاريخ الاسلامي ان قائد الاسلام صلاح الدين الايوبي قد تم علاجه في تلك المنطقة ويحتوي المخيم على الكثير من ينابيع المياه المعدنية الساخنة العلاجية وأهم ما يميز تلك المياه المعدنية الحارة انها ذات خواص علاجية واستشفائية لاحتوائها على عناصر معدنية مفيدة لجسم الانسان بتراكيز عالية واحتوائها على عنصر الرادون المشع (RADON) وهو عنصر ضروري لعلاج المفاصل وعلاج الدورة الدموية. ومن مميزات المشروع انه الاول من نوعه في المنطقة كما انه مخيم (بيئي , اجتماعي , سياحي ,علاجي) حيث تم انشائه في بيئة خلابة بعيد عن ضجة المدن تظم منظومة متنوعة المقومات من مياه معدنية ومساحات خضراء وبساتين الجوافة والحمضيات, ومكان استثنائي للرحلات والهروب للطبيعة والاجتماعات الخلاقة , ومكان جاذب للسياح بحكم الطبيعة الخلابة وتعتبر اكثر المناطق للجذب السياحي الخاريجي في الطفيلة.

The camp contains many therapeutic hot mineral water springs, and the most important characteristic of this hot mineral water is that it has healing and healing properties because it contains mineral elements useful for the human body in high concentrations, and contains the radioactive element radon (RADON), an element necessary for the treatment of joints and the treatment of blood circulation. One of the features of the project is that it is the first of its kind in the region, as it is a (environmental, social, touristic, therapeutic) camp, which was established in a picturesque environment away from the hustle and bustle of cities, which includes a diverse system of mineral water, green spaces, guava and citrus orchards, and an exceptional place for trips and escape to nature and meetings. Creative, and an attractive place for tourists by virtue of the picturesque nature and is considered the most important area for external tourist attractions in Tafileh.
