Worked up an appetite riding pow in Moiwa?? Come and visit Sanbarco restaurant located next to Niseko Backcountry Lodge. It is open for lunch and dinner daily. From 11:30-2pm & 6-10pm. It's a Mexican and the home-made tacos are amazing!

Izakaya are casual drinking establishments, similar to tapas bars, where you can order a variety of small, inexpensive dishes of food that accompany the alcoholic dishes. Great for an informal and fun evening!

Meet Dirk and Erin Nannes - our awesome owners!

Dirk is Former World Cup mogul skier and international cricketer, and manages the lodge's operations. Outside of enjoying Niseko's powder, he has a busy media role commentating Winter Olympics, world cup cricket tournaments, and TV/radio commitments.

Erin has worked seasons in Europe and North America. With an infectious positive attitude, she was behind the redesign of much of the lodge over recent seasons.

They bought the lodge in 2008 and have been enjoying it with their family and team ever since!
