On World Animal Day, we turn our attention to the wildlife that shares the landscapes of Hokkaido. From Ezo red foxes and squirrels to owls found throughout the surrounding forests, these quiet encounters are part of what makes Niseko so distinctive.

At Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, the Rujipart Gallery Wall offers another perspective on this natural world, featuring works by Niseko-based photographer Rujipart that capture the region’s wildlife and landscapes with remarkable sensitivity.

At Teppan, the HANAZONO Course expresses Hokkaido’s seasonal character through a full menu prepared before you at the counter. From cold carrot soup with Hokkaido scallops and sea urchin to Hokkaido Wagyu fillet with 540-day-aged Kutchan potato purée, each course brings local ingredients into focus through fire and precise technique.

The final nights of Mountain Lights illuminate Niseko Hanazono Resort through October 12, bringing Bruce Munro’s immersive light art into dialogue with the autumn landscape. On October 3 and 10, fireworks rise above the glowing hillside at 8:00 PM, offering two final Saturday evenings to experience the installation in its closing season.

アーティスト、ブルース・マンローによる光のアート「マウンテンライツ」は、いよいよ10月12日までの開催となります。10月3日と10日の20:00からは、光に包まれた丘陵を背景に約5分間の花火もお楽しみいただけます。ニセコの秋の夜長をぜひご体感ください。

Located in the hotel lobby, *Snow Melt* by STUDIO SAWADA DESIGN brings together the warmth of a fireplace with the sparkle of melting snow. As the surrounding light shifts, the artwork reveals changing details that quietly echo Niseko’s natural landscape.

ホテルロビーに佇む、STUDIO SAWADA DESIGNが手掛けたアート作品「Snow Melt」。暖炉の温もりと雪解けのきらめきが重なり合う情景を表現し、移ろう光とともにさまざまな表情を見せます。

October is the final month for young chefs aged 6 to 12 to join our 2026 Kids Cooking Classes, learning to make dim sum, pizza, or an ice cream parfait under the guidance of our chefs. With ingredients and aprons provided, children can focus on creating something of their own before sharing the finished dish with their families.

Dim Sum: Fridays | 3:00–4:00 PM
Pizza: Saturdays | 12:00–2:00 PM
Ice Cream Parfait: Sundays | 3:00–4:00 PM
¥5,500 per child, inclusive of tax and subject to a 15% service charge

Under Niseko’s clear autumn skies, members of our team recently joined the rice harvest at the Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono Rice Field.

Working alongside local producers offered a valuable opportunity to deepen our connection to the land, its traditions, and the ingredients that define the region.

The rice harvested from our dedicated rice field will soon be featured across our restaurants, bringing a taste of Niseko’s harvest season directly to the table.

秋晴れの空が広がる中、先日パーク ハイアット ニセコ HANAZONO専用圃場にて、ホテルチームが稲刈りに参加いたしました。

地域の生産者の皆様とともに収穫に携わることで、この土地の自然や農業、そして食文化への理解を深める貴重な機会となりました。

専用圃場で収穫されたお米は、まもなくホテル内のレストランでもご提供予定です。実りの季節ならではの味わいを、ぜひお楽しみください�
