JOBS: RUSUTSU LODGES 5-MINUTE WALK FROM RUSUTSU SKI RESORT LOOKING FOR WINTER STAFF!
If you wish to avoid the crowded lift lines, how about spending a season in Rusutsu? Amazing powder like you would get in Niseko, but still fresh tracks to be found after lunch!
Slower pace compared to some other busier ski areas, but a great small community and local bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Located about a 40-minute drive to Niseko (Free staff car to use!) you can visit other resorts in Hokkaido on your days off (Kiroro, Furano, Kokusai…)

WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT WORKING WITH US?

WHAT ROLES WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL:
1) Lodge all-rounder workers: (Mornings/afternoon shift rotations)
Help with housekeeping, front reception, and restaurant service.
No experience is needed, but a good attitude to learn and be a team player is necessary! Bilingual (especially English/Japanese) are highly regarded.
2) Chef: (Afternoon shift)
We need an experienced chef to help at our restaurant RED HOUSE. For 3 days of the week, you will work together with our full-time chef as a kitchen assistant and for 2 days a week, you will be our main chef.
3) Kitchen Hand: (Afternoon shift)
Working in our RED HOUSE restaurant alongside our chef, prepping food, and helping with plating and other general kitchen work.
Experience as a kitchen hand is not necessary, but experience/passion for cooking is needed!
4) Snow Clearer: (Morning shift, time can be flexible as long as the snow is cleared!)
Use a Caterpillar loader and snowblower to clear snow around the lodge. Snow dump and shovels for clearing stairs/roofs etc.
Driver's license required.
When there is less snowfall, it is possible to help in other areas of the lodge.
WORKING PERIOD:
December 1st - March 31st/ First week of April
WORKING HOURS:
Between 30 and 40 hours a week (less in quiet periods, more during peak season) 5 days a week, 2 days off.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Japanese resident OR A valid visa that allows you to work in Japan. We are sorry but we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
- Drivers license is highly regarded
