当館シャレーアイビー定山渓からお車でわずか10分の場所にある「さっぽろ湖（定山渓ダム）」を訪れました。豊かな静水面には、このエリアで最も標高の高い名峰「天狗岳」が聳え立ち、秋の空と鮮やかな木々を美しく映し出します。

今年の定山渓エリアは、一年前と比べても紅葉の色づきが少し早く進んでいる様子。これからの約2週間が、定山渓周辺で最も美しい紅葉のピーク（見頃）を迎える絶好のタイミングとなりそうです！

For the second installment of our October series, we take a look back at October 5th of last year with a visit to Lake Sapporo (Jozankei Dam)—located just a quick 10-minute drive from Chalet Ivy Jozankei.

Here, the crystal-clear waters reflect the majestic silhouette of Mt. Tengu, the highest peak in the immediate area, framed by vibrant autumn foliage.

Compared to last year, the fall colors appear to be developing a little earlier this season! The next two weeks are expected to be the absolute peak of the autumn viewing season in Jozankei.

今月は、自然が織りなす圧倒的な紅葉の美しさを写真とともにご紹介する新シリーズ「On this day one year ago!（一年前の今日）」をお届けします。掲載する写真はすべて、ちょうど一年前の「今日」撮影された定山渓のリアルな季節の表情です。

シリーズ第1弾は、本日10月1日よりスタートする「札幌国際スキー場秋の紅葉フェスティバル」。

シャレーアイビー定山渓からお車でわずか約25分。紅葉ゴンドラに乗り込めば、眼下に広がる劇的な色彩の絨毯と、遠く石狩湾まで見渡せる雄大なパノラマ絶景が広がります。当館ご滞在中の爽やかな秋のドライブ活動として、ぜひ足をのばしてみませんか。

【プレーバック】定山渓を駆け抜けた、クラシックカー・ラリーの記憶。🏎️クラシックカーが紡ぐ贅沢な秋のひととき。

数年前、北海道の美風景を巡る「クラシックカー・ラリー」の立ち寄り地として、当館シャレーアイビー定山渓が選ばれた特別な一日の思い出をご紹介いたします。

当日は、歴史を彩る名車やクラシックカーのコレクションが定山渓のエントランス・エントランス前駐車場に次々と到着。圧巻の光景が広がりました。オーナーの皆様には、定山渓の景色を眺めながら当館シェフ特製のランチをご堪能いただき、ゆったりとした特別なひとときをお過ごしいただきました。

数々の美しいヴィンテージカーが一堂に会する光景は、スタッフや館内にとっても忘れられない、大変胸躍る時間となりました。

昼食を終えたラリーのクルー達は、再び愛車のエンジンを響かせ、次なる目的地であるニセコへと向かって出発されました。

A few years ago, Chalet Ivy Jozankei had the honor of hosting a stop on a classic car rally touring the picturesque landscapes of Hokkaido.

An incredible selection of rare, vintage vehicles lined our parking grounds, creating a truly spectacular sight against the mountain backdrop. Our hotel team prepared a special lunch for the drivers and guests, giving them a chance to relax, indulge in Hokkaido culinary flavors, and enjoy the tranquil views of the valley.

Seeing so many automotive icons gathered in one place brought an electric energy to the hotel. After a refreshing break, the crew powered back up and made their way toward their next destination, Niseko!
