夏は八ヶ岳登山者が増え、登山口駐車場が早朝から満車になります。
せっかく県外から来たのに...と楽しみにしていた登山を諦めないためにも登山口まで近い宿に前泊するのがおすすめです。

南八ヶ岳の硫黄岳に登るなら桜平駐車場の(上)または(中)には停めたいですね。
(下)からは登山口まで約3kmもあり、登り始める前に体力を消耗してしまいます。

蓼科BASEは桜平駐車場(中)まで約34分。

Summer Hiking Season Begins in the Yatsugatake Mountains

In summer, the number of hikers in the Yatsugatake Mountains increases, and the trailhead parking lots fill up early in the morning.
To avoid having to give up on the hike you’ve been looking forward to—especially if you’ve traveled all the way from out of Nagano—we recommend staying overnight at a hotel near the trailhead the night before.

If you’re climbing Mt. Iōdake in the Southern Yatsugatake range, you’ll want to park at the Sakuradaira Parking Lot (Upper) or (Middle).
The (Lower) section is about 3 km from the trailhead, which will drain your energy before you even start the climb.

Tateshina BASE is about 34 minutes from the Sakuradaira Parking Lot (Middle).
One of the great things about Tateshina BASE is its state-of-the-art system that allows you to check out simply by returning your key to the self-check-in key box—meaning you can tailor your stay to your own pace, whether you arrive late at night or leave early in the morning.

We’re hosting a wine tasting event on Saturday, June 27, starting at 5:00 PM!

The wines we’ll be tasting are from the Republic of Moldova.
Located in Eastern Europe, the Republic of Moldova is one of the world’s oldest wine-producing regions.
Vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see, and the country is also famous for “Milestii Mici,” the world’s largest underground wine cellar.

On the day of the event, the wine sommelier and owner of Michikake Wine Shop on the first floor of Tateshina BASE will provide commentary on Moldovan wines while you enjoy a casual tasting.

蓼科今昔タイムスリップツアー

梅雨の6月はやることがない...なんて思っていませんか？
蓼科BASEでは、いつ蓼科を訪れても旅の思い出を作れる機会や空間を創出することを目指しています。

今年初の試みで「蓼科タイムスリップツアー」という歴史体験ガイドを開催しております。
旅行先でも学びになるような知的好奇心を満たしたい方や親子代々足しげく蓼科へ通ってくださっている方、歴史や文化を知ることに興味関心がある方にとっておきのツアーです。

・昔の人たちはこの広大な土地をどのように分け合っていたの？
・なぜ蓼科は皇室の宮家のひとつである東伏見家や映画監督小津安二郎などの文化人に愛されたの？
・蓼科はどのようにして観光地として発展してきたの？

ぜひ蓼科で、大人の歴史授業に参加してみませんか。

6月以降も7月上旬、9月、11月にも開催予定です。
