We are delighted to announce an exclusive autumn event that brings the heart of Japanese craftsmanship and hospitality to our guests.

Set against the serene elegance of our hotel, where you can fully immerse yourself in the refined beauty of premium Japan, we will be hosting "Ikka Ichie." For this special one-day event, we welcome the highly acclaimed contemporary Wagashi (traditional Japanese confectionery) artisan, Mr. Hiroyuki Sanno.

Guests will have the rare opportunity to witness Mr. Sanno’s artistry firsthand through a live demonstration, followed by a hands-on workshop to create your own vibrant Nerikiri wagashi.

Afterward, you will be invited to savor your unique creation accompanied by freshly whisked matcha tea in the authentic, poetic atmosphere of our "Seifuan" tea house grand hall.

For lunch, indulge in a visually stunning "Temari Gozen" (curated lunch box set) prepared by our premier Japanese dining restaurant, "Kyoto Shimogamo Saryo Kita no Hanare." It promises to be a deeply memorable afternoon that engages all five senses with exceptional Japanese hospitality.
