【アクセス】
1. 函館駅に着きましたら、目の前の大きな道路に市電（路面電車）が走っています。駅函館駅前という乗り場がありますので、【谷地頭】とプレートに書かれた電車にお乗り下さい。

2. 谷地頭駅は終点です。函館駅前乗り場から15分で着きます。

3. 谷地頭駅で降りたら、ローソンがあります。
ローソンを左側にして、そのまま電車に乗っていた進行方向でまっすぐ進んでください。

4. 進むと坂の手前の電柱にG.Hと書かれたテープが見えます。
そこを左に曲がります。

5. 曲がってから、まっすぐ歩くと右側に『寛ぎの翔輝 はこだて』と書かれた看板の建物があります。

6. 通り過ぎると右側に坂があります。
坂を上まで上がると神社が見えます。

7.神社の階段を登らずに左に曲がると
GUEST HOUSEと書かれた看板のある建物が
函館山ゲストハウスです。

5. When you walk straight, there is a slope.
6. You turn to the left just before a slope and please walk.
7. When you walk straight, a slope is on the right side again.
8. There is a Shinto shrine in the top. Please walk to the top.
10. You turn to the left just before stairs of the Shinto shrine

Long time no see!
We have been super busy, we could not get around to posting here lately.

We are getting into our rainy season since the middle of June in Hakodate.
Although the weather has been groomy, we have had many wonderful guests at our inn. Thanks all, as always!!

Let us tell you about some of our guests.
Do you remember about the old gaming machine we have?
This was an topic of this posting some months ago.
Anyway, one of our guest achieved a high record of 427 points
recently! Congrats!!^^

There was this guest who brought her own Yukata (it is a kind
of Kimono typically worn in summer.) and I was able to help her to
wear it for her outing. The lady looked so beautiful, not to mention!!

There was a guest who visited Toya Lake for a day trip, then
there was a guest who stayed at the inn, listening to our
old jazz records...

Everyone seemed to enjoy Hakodate in their own way.

We also had a reunion with our repeater guests as well!!

Hakodate stays cool nowadays but we assume that we are
getting a hot (but short) summer soon.

During your trip, please be aware of heat-strokes!!

長い間、投稿ができなくてごめんなさい。
6月から7月前半、蝦夷梅雨も重なり、あまりいい天気ではなかった函館ですが、たくさんの素敵なお客様がご宿泊くださいました。

前回無料のゲーム機をお話ししましたが、その後427点という高得点を出したお客様がいらしたり、
浴衣姿で観光したいと言うリクエストで、お客様持参の浴衣を私が着付けたり（とても素敵な浴衣姿でした！）
日帰りで洞爺湖まで行かれたお客様や
当宿のレコードプレーヤーでジャズを聴きながらゆっくり館内で1日を過ごす方もいたり、、
と、皆さん様々なスタイルで函館を満喫されていらっしゃいました。
そして、毎年泊まりに来てくださる方達との嬉しい再会もありました☺︎

函館は今日もとても涼しいですが、短く暑い夏はもうすぐそこまで来てるのでしょうね。

旅行中の皆様、熱中症には気をつけましょう！

There is a game machine in our inn.
Very simple game, you just shoot the ball and break the blocks, that's all.
But our guests love this game and they get excited and scream a lot like little kids while playing the game!
Some guests say that this game is
super addicted and make them crazy! ha-ha!!
The best score, as of today, is 440 points and this was achieved by 2 guest from Texas and Holland .
A lot of guests hold more than 100 points, too!
This machine was produced more than 40 years ago,
and still working today just fine!

当宿に設置している、無料ゲーム機。
ボールを当ててブロックを壊していくシンプルなゲームなのですが、皆さん、、叫ぶ！叫ぶ！
とあるお客様達は、このゲームはクレイジーだ！と叫びます（笑）
現在のハイスコアはテキサスから来られたゲストとオランダの少年が同得点で440点です。その他たくさんのゲストが100点以上のスコアを持っています。
４０年程前のゲーム機、今でも立派に活躍中です！

We are back to our Inn for the season!
We opened in April 20th to be precise...
We would like to introduce our newest addition.
It is Tama!
It was a stray cat but now he is officially our family member!!
he is often relaxing in the living room, so
please pat her/him when you visit.
We are very happy to come back here.

Well, we had a spectacular Golden-Week holiday as the cherry blossoms were just at their peak.
Not only that but also we had so many guests during the holiday.
We really appreciate for your patronage. You are truly amazing!

お久しぶりです。
4/20から営業を再開させて頂いてます。
今年からは『たま』という可愛い猫が半野良生活から、正式な私達の家族になりました。リビングで寛いでる事が多いので撫でてあげて下さいね。
本年も、半年間よろしくお願い致します。

さて、函館は桜満開のゴールデンウィークでした。

I am sorry for posting after 2 months, we are very busy with the reservations due to the earthquake in September.
Many reservations were cancelled after an earthquake, but we are heartily thankful to our guests who stayed with us.
We had a smooth ending of this term.
This year also we got a chance to serve many wonderful guests.
Thank you very much for loving our new staff member Tama (Cat).
We are enthusiastically looking forward to see many new and already served customers again next year.

Hello, everyone! So sorry for this delayed posting.
Since summer holiday started, we are busier than ever!
We are very happy to say it, of course!!!

Yes, we received so many wonderful guests this time as well.
Especially in July, a lot of guests returned to us few days after they left our inn.
We loved saying ''Welcome back!!'' to each of the guests.

Do you remember about the game we have in our inn??
We have now a new record!
How amazing is that!
We soon will post the pictures of the guests playing and enjoying the game. So please, please keep us posted.
