こども相撲や、ちゃんこ鍋の無料ふるまい。
そして、250年以上続く「湯立獅子舞」が毎年披露される伝統行事です。

金時神社は金時山の麓にあり、
箱根でも人気のハイキングコースの起点となっています。

新緑が美しいこの季節、
前日にハイキングを楽しみ、
当館の源泉掛け流しの白濁温泉（貸切・予約制）でゆっくりと疲れを癒し、
翌日はお祭りへ。😊

箱根の自然と文化を満喫できる滞在としておすすめです。👍

Kintoki Festival in Kintoki shrine in Hakone

Enjoy kids’ sumo matches and complimentary chanko hot pot,
along with the traditional Yudate Shishimai, performed every year for over 250 years.

Kintoki Shrine is located at the base of Mt. Kintoki,
one of Hakone’s most popular hiking trails.

With fresh greenery at its peak,
we recommend hiking the day before,
relaxing in our private natural onsen,
and visiting the festival the next day.

A well-balanced way to experience Hakone’s nature and culture.

Friends of a lovely Belgian couple who stayed with us in September 2025 came to visit us this time 😆

They were recommended by their friends,
and we’re so happy this connection brought them here 🇧🇪✨

They enjoyed the tatami room, futon, and our private onsen,
and even had fun playing kendama together‼️

A very special reunion in Hakone 😄🇯🇵

Mr. Okuma, a former senior colleague from Ted’s JTB days, returned with his longtime friends from Australia, Michael & Sandy, for a 2-night stay.

As it was Michael & Sandy’s birthday last week, we celebrated together 🎂
They also enjoyed bamboo shoot digging and Kendama — a true local experience.😆👍

Over the years, Mr. Okuma has brought many wonderful guests to our guesthouse and created meaningful connections.

One of those was through the “People to People Ambassador Program,” through which we welcomed thousands of students from the United States.

The program was founded by Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States, and at the time was led by his granddaughter, Mary Jean Eisenhower.

We are truly grateful to Mr. Okuma for his continued support over the years.

JTB時代の大先輩である大熊さんが、オーストラリアのご友人ご夫婦、マイケルさんとサンディさんを連れて2泊してくださいました。

ちょうどマイケルさんとサンディさんのお誕生日ということでお祝いも🎂
竹の子掘りやけん玉など、日本らしい体験も楽しんでいただきました。

大熊さんはこれまで長年にわたり、多くの素晴らしいご縁を当館につないでくださっています。

その一つが「People to People Ambassador Program」で、これまで延べ数千人のアメリカの学生を受け入れてきました。
このプログラムは、アメリカ合衆国第34代大統領ドワイト・D・アイゼンハワー氏によって創設され、当時はその孫娘であるメアリー・ジーン・アイゼンハワー氏が代表を務めていました。

大熊さんの長年のご支援に心より感謝しております。

Fire⁉️😨

No — this is the annual grass burning at Sengokuhara, Hakone.😊👍

This tradition prevents forest overgrowth, clears old reeds, and allows fresh, healthy pampas grass to grow.These flames create the golden fields you’ll see in autumn.

Usually held in March, it was delayed this year due to weather.But thanks to that, we witnessed cherry blossoms and fire at the same time 🌸🔥

Our open-air bath cherry tree is now in full bloom.Experience this moment with us.

いいえ、箱根・仙石原すすき草原の山焼きです。

山焼きは、森林化を防ぎ、古いススキを焼き払い、良質な新芽を育てるために行われています。

この🔥が、秋の黄金色の絶景をつくるのです✌️

例年は3月中に実施されますが、天候に恵まれず何度も延期に。でもそのおかげで、満開の桜と山焼きを同時に楽しむことができました🌸🔥

うちの露天風呂の枝垂れ桜も満開です🌸

春は桜、秋はすすき草原の絶景をぜひ観にいらしてください。
