We are a modern Japanese-Western-style Bed & Breakfast accommodation in Hakuba Japan, the 1998 Nagano winter olympic venue, with a total of 5 guest rooms. For a unique Japanese accommodation experience all our rooms have Japanese style futon beds - four of which with tatami floor - and en-suite wash basins and western toilets. Two shared private bathrooms are available for your convenience.

We are having a nice, stable weather window (means no rain) and so we could already start with our first renovation project this year. We are knocking down the extension bathrooms at the back of the house, which was on our wish list for a long time as it was difficult to heat and keep the pipes from freezing (all external :-( ). We also get more room for the snow sliding off the roof, which gave me always headaches. It's also an improvement for our guests (very important) as we will build more shower rooms upstairs (guest rooms floor level). This year one shared and hopefully next year two en-suite.
People always ask me what we are doing in the off season - now you know.

Our Story

We are a modern Japanese-Western-style Bed & Breakfast accommodation in Hakuba Japan, the 1998 Nagano winter olympic venue, with a total of 5 guest rooms. For a unique Hakuba accommodation experience all rooms come with comfortable Japanese-style futon beds and four have got a traditional tatami floor (straw mat).

All rooms are equipped with en suite wash basins and western toilets. Two rooms have their own balcony and three rooms have got a specious attic bedroom. Two shared shower rooms are available for your convenience.
