⛰️【1000年続く大山信仰の道】
神の山・大山。
兠山旅館から大山寺、大神山神社奥宮、元谷、行者コース入口まで、
古くから続く信仰の道、大山信仰登山ルート（行者コース）を歩いて来ました。
この道は、かつて多くの僧侶や修行者が祈りを捧げながら歩いた道です。
日本最大級の石畳参道、大神山神社奥宮、そして大山北壁を望む元谷。
大山は登山の山であると同時に、1000年以上の信仰が息づく山でもあります。
現在も7月14日にもひとひ神事でこのルートを通り1,000年続く神事を行っております。ぜひ最後までご覧ください。

🇺🇸 The Mt. Daisen Pilgrimage Route – A Sacred Path of Faith for Over 1,000 Years ⛰️
Mt. Daisen has long been revered as a sacred mountain in J*pan.
Starting from Toyama Ryokan, I walked the historic Mt. Daisen Pilgrimage Route (Gyoja Course), passing through Daisen-ji Temple, Ogamiyama Shrine Okunomiya, Motodani Valley, and the entrance to the Gyoja Course.
For centuries, this path was traveled by monks and ascetics who came to pray, train, and deepen their spiritual practice.
Along the route are some of Mt. Daisen's most iconic sites, including one of J*pan's longest natural stone-paved approaches, the majestic Ogamiyama Shrine Okunomiya, and Motodani Valley, where the dramatic north face of Mt. Daisen rises before you.
Mt. Daisen is not only a mountain for hikers—it is also a mountain of faith, where more than 1,000 years of spiritual tradition continue to live on.
Even today, on July 14–15 each year, the ancient Mohitori Ritual follows this route as part of a sacred ceremony that has been passed down for over a millennium.
