The mountain officially opened for the season on June 27th. You can enjoy breathtaking views featuring fresh green foliage, the towering Daisetsuzan mountain range, and a crystal-clear sky.
To mark the season opening, the ropeway has introduced new gondolas.

今年度は7/25（土）～8/15（土）まで毎日花火が打ち上げとなります🎉

7/25（土）は自衛隊音楽隊による演奏、フクロウ神事や上川アイヌによる民族舞踊、火まつりの太鼓といった様々なイベントがございます🎶

６月からは夏膳となりましたので、お料理をご紹介いたします✨
炭火を扱う北番屋ならではのお造り＆海鮮炙り。夏に旬を迎えるホッキを始めとした、ドナルドサーモン、本マグロ、ハッカクの4種類をお造りと炙りの両方でお楽しみください。
ごはんは、今回穴子と枝豆・ごぼうの釜炊きごはんをご用意しました。穴子のうまみがしみ込んだご飯にごぼうの食感がほどよいアクセントになっています。ご飯と炭火で香ばしく炙った海苔、山わさび味噌と合わせて召し上がるとより一層おいしく頂けます。ぜひ一度ご堪能ください🙇‍♂️

At Sounkyo Choyo-tei, we offer the Kitabanya plan, where you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine in a private room. 🍽️
Starting in June, we've switched to our summer set meal, and we'd like to introduce the dishes. ✨
Kitabanya's signature charcoal-grilled sashimi and seared seafood. Enjoy four types of seafood—surf clam, Donald salmon, bluefin tuna, and Sailfin poacher—both served as sashimi and seared.

For rice, we've prepared rice cooked in a pot with conger eel, edamame, and burdock root. The umami of the conger eel permeates the rice, and the texture of the burdock root provides a nice accent. It's even more delicious when enjoyed with charcoal-grilled nori seaweed and mountain wasabi miso. Please try it! 🙇‍♂️
