This is Kawazu Station on the Izukyu Line, the closest station to our hotel. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Tokyo on the Odoriko Limited Express.
You can get there from Tokyo by taking the Odoriko Limited Express without changing trains.

The Kawazu River has a total length of approximately 16.4 km and originates in the mountains of Mt. Amagi and flows into the Sagami Sea.
Sweetfish fishing, sweetfish release, and catching competitions are held. The Kawazu River is famous throughout the country as one of Izu's leading sweetfish fishing meccas, and as a river with many natural upstream streams.
There are rows of Kawazu cherry blossom trees stretching from the mouth of the Kawazu River to the town hall, and the area is famous for the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival, which is held in early spring every year. About 15 minutes walk from our hotel.

Tsumekizaki is located at the southeastern tip of the Susaki Peninsula in Shimoda City.
There is a white lighthouse and a splendid coastal scenery, including columnar joint cliffs called Tawara Iso.
There is Tsumekizaki Hanazono here, which is famous for its daffodil festival from late December to early February.
