The season for Kano and Kobako crabs has begun!!

This year, the crab season opens in Ishikawa Prefecture on November 6th. 🦀
Known as the king of flavors, Kano crab is a must-try on any winter trip to Kanazawa!
The appeal of female Kobako crabs is that they're packed with roe!

After enjoying crab at Omicho Market, why not stay the night at our hotel, just a short walk away? 😎✨

We look forward to your reservation!

Thank you for your continued patronage!

Today, we’d like to introduce some hands-on activities you can enjoy near our hotel. 😊

Joshoji Temple is located in Teramachi!

Here, you can experience two activities: “morning activity” and “evening activity.” 😎

Incense-making
Kendo
Taiko
Incense
Porridge/Matcha (Morning activity: Porridge, Evening activity: Matcha)

After enjoying the wonderful aroma of incense, get moving with some kendo, listen to fascinating stories about the temple from the head priest, and try your hand at drumming to the rhythm. ♪
You can also light incense and pray for a safe journey. 🫶
Finally, everyone enjoys porridge and matcha together. 🙏 (Porridge is served for the morning activity, and matcha for the evening activity.)

Use your five senses and fully experience Japanese culture!
For me, the wonderful aroma of matcha was the best! 🌸
Plus, participants will receive a photo of the experience! 👏
It’s sure to become a memorable memory of your trip!

Why not try some morning and evening activities at Joshoji Temple? ☺️

Tokyu Stay Kanazawa x Chokyuji
Today, we're introducing Chokyuji, where you can experience a short training session in Kanazawa!

Located in Teramachi, a temple town lined with approximately 70 temples and shrines, Chokyuji offers zazen and sutra copying experiences. 🍃

The last photo shows our staff actually participating in the zazen experience. 🧘🏻
The tranquil space was a great place to relax, and I personally plan to participate again in the future. 😚
In addition to the experience itself, the gorgeous garden filled with osmanthus trees and the opportunity to speak with the head priest, who you might not normally have the chance to meet, are also part of the appeal!

Experiences start from 30 minutes, so it's easy to drop in. 😤
Reservations can be made through Chokyuji's website or by phone. We hope you'll visit Chokyuji for a wonderful experience.
