GO FOR KOGEI 2022

2020年に開始したGO FOR KOGEI。GO FOR KOGEI 2022では、「感情をゆらす、工芸の旅」をテーマに、現代における人と「もの」との関わり方を、工芸を通して再考する試みとして、さまざまなプログラムを実施しました。［特別展］では「つくる－土地、くらし、祈りが織りなすもの－」というタイトルのもと、総勢20名のアーティストによる作品を通じて、プリミティブへの回帰から最新テクノロジーまで、「ものづくり」の時間軸の振幅を紹介しました。また同年には新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響が落ち着きはじめたこともあり、2021年の［特別展Ⅱ］で制作したプロダクトを、市中の飲食店などで実際に使うことができる体験型プログラムも実施しました。これらの展覧会とプログラムを通じ、暮らしと工芸、またそれらと土地との密接な関わりを五感で体感できるきっかけを作りました。また、工芸史家・菊池裕子氏をゲストとして招き、シンポジウム「工芸再考－アート、ポリティックス、ジェンダーの視点から」を開催。国際的な視座から「工芸」を巡る今日的な課題を紹介いただきました。弊社では、昨年に引き続き事務局を担当。企画、コーディネーションから運営、広報まで一貫したマネージメントを実施しました。

ウェルネスハウス SARAI / Wellness House SARAI

能美市が運営する研修施設「能美市ふるさと交流研修センター」が、指定管理によって「ウェルネスハウスSARAI」としてリニューアルオープンを迎えました。そのリニューアルに伴い、能美市にゆかりある8名の若手九谷焼作家が1室ずつをプロデュースする「九谷ステイ」を構想。弊社では作家選定から客室およびエントランスホールのアートディレクションと作品の制作・設置監理を担当しました。客室や施設内でアートを楽しめる宿泊施設が増えつつある一方で、「焼き物」に焦点を当てた試みは国内でも珍しい実績となりました。

Nomi City Local Exchanges and Study Center was renovated and reopened as Wellness House SARAI, in accordance with the Designated Management Entity System. With this renewal, the Kutani Stay program was launched, in which eight young Kutani ware artists connected to Nomi City each produced a guest room. Noetica was responsible for artist selection, art direction for guest rooms and the entrance hall, and artwork production and installation supervision. In the midst of the growing trend for lodgings with art-focused guest rooms and facilities, this ceramics-focused project proved to be a rare case, even within Japan.

KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa 2021‒2025

工芸の新しい美意識や価値観を世界に発信する、国内唯一の工芸に特化したアートフェア「KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa」。2021年からは、金沢駅前のホテル「ハイアット セントリック 金沢」に会場を移し、より規模を拡大して開催しています。2025年の開催では出展者数は42ギャラリーに増え、3000人を超える来場者にお越しいただきました。2024年には「MUFG茶会」など工芸に直接触れる体験を提供するなど、工芸に特化したアートフェアならではのコンテンツを実施しました。弊社では、企画、コーディネーション、制作、運営、広報などフェア全般の業務に加え、特別プログラムの企画運営も行いました。

As Japan’s only art fair dedicated to kogei crafts, KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa introduces new aesthetics and values of crafts to the world. Since 2021, the fair has been held on a larger scale at Hyatt Centric Kanazawa, located near Kanazawa Station. The number of exhibitors increased to 42 galleries in 2025, and the event attracted over 3,000 visitors. The 2024 edition offered hands-on programs that are unique to an art fair specializing in crafts, such as the MUFG Tea Ceremony. Noetica provided comprehensive fair management, including planning, coordination, production, operations, and public relations, as well as the planning and operation of special programs.

Kutani ware is a traditional pottery from Ishikawa Prefecture. The KUTANism project was jointly launched by its production region (Komatsu and Nomi Cities) with the aim of gaining international publicity and establishing a local brand in anticipation of the Shinkansen extension in 2023. Its third edition in 2021 covered both physical and virtual events, including an exhibition, a webzine, and videos, under the theme of “Techniques for Creating Individuality.” Noetica comprehensively worked on the project from planning and coordination to production and public relations.

GO FOR KOGEIは、北陸三県（富山、石川、福井）を舞台に、広域的なアートエリアの形成を目指し、工芸の魅力を国内外に発信する取り組みです。GO FOR KOGEI 2021では、「現代アート化する工芸」と「デザイン化する工芸」を紹介すべく、北陸三県の５会場にて特別展を開催しました。［特別展Ⅰ］では、⼯芸、現代アート、アールブリュットの世界で活躍する総勢20名のアーティストが参加し、⽂化財指定を受けた建造物と呼応するサイトスペシフィックな作品展示を行いました。もう一方の［特別展Ⅱ］では、各界で活躍するディレクターやデザイナー13名と、地域の伝統を担う工芸作家や職人とでチームを結成し、マーケティングに依らない、暮らしにこだわる視点からプロダクトを制作しました。また、エリア内で開催される７つの「工芸祭」および約90箇所にのぼる工芸工房をネットワーク化することで、国内における工芸の動向を他に先駆けて発信するプラットフォームの構築を目指しました。弊社では事務局を担当し、企画、コーディネーション、運営、広報などを行いました。

Go for Kogei is a celebration of kogei crafts held across three prefectures—Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui—in the Hokuriku region, with the aim of developing an art-infused community as well as promoting the appeal of kogei crafts both nationally and internationally. In 2021, two special exhibitions were held in five venues and explored “Crafts Turning into Contemporary Art and Modern Design.” Special Exhibition I featured 20 artists from the fields of kogei crafts, contemporary art, and art brut, and presented site-specific works that responded to historically designated cultural properties. For Special Exhibition II, 13 creative directors and designers from various fields formed collaborative teams with local traditional craftspeople and artists to develop products rooted in everyday life rather than a marketing-oriented approach. Furthermore, a network of seven craft festivals held in the area and some 90 craft workshops was created in an effort to establish a platform that introduces the latest craft trends in Japan. Noetica served as the Project Management Office for this event and was in charge of planning, coordination, operation, and public relations.

石川県の伝統工芸・九谷焼。その「世界発信」と2023年の新幹線延伸を見据えた「地域ブランド化」を目標に、九谷焼産地である小松市・能美市が協力して取り組むプロジェクト。第2回の2020年は、新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大のためオンライン開催。「産地のオンラインミュージアム」として、産地に取材したWEBマガジンや映画監督・森義隆氏による九谷焼の映像作品など、ディープな九谷焼の魅力を発信しました。弊社では企画、コーディネーション、制作、広報までプロジェクト全般に携わりました。

京都三条に所在するリノベーションホテルのアート作品のキュレーションを担当しました。かつて東海道五十三次の起点・終点として描かれ、全国のひと・ものが交差した場所に建つことから、ホテルのコンセプトが「ローカルへ旅を継ぐ」でした。そのコンセプトを軸に、風景映像を360度から観賞できる山城大督の映像彫刻作品を納品。また、同ホテルのポップアップショップディレクションとして、上出惠悟と木村肇の作品展示を実施しました。

Noetica worked on the art curation for the renovated hotel in Kyoto Sanjo. The hotel’s concept, “evoking one into local travels,” was inspired by its location at the starting point and ending point of the journey through the 53 stations of the Tokaido Road, once the center of traffic for people and goods. Drawing from the concept, Noetica delivered Daisuke Yamashiro’s video sculpture, which projects scenic landscapes that can be viewed from any angle. We also directed an exhibition of works by Keigo Kamide and Hajime Kimura at the pop-up shop in the hotel.

『工芸×建築』の可能性を探る 工芸建築展 / KOGEI Architecture Exhibition: Exploring the Possibilities of KOGEI+Architecture

2017年に開催した「工芸建築」展を拡大して開催。前年のコンセプト「建築を、ひとつの工芸として考える」を引き継ぎながらも、改めて建築における装飾のあり方を問い直し、工芸の空間的展開を構想しました。同展には、工芸作家や建築家など多彩なアーティスト38名が参加し、コラボレーションを含む14点もの作品を制作しました。また、展覧会にあわせてシンポジウムも開催。弊社では展覧会・シンポジウムともに、コーディネーションと運営を担当しました。

This exhibition was an extension of the 2017 KOGEI Architecture Exhibition. While following the previous theme of “Considering Architecture as Kogei (Craft),” it reexamined the role of ornamentation in architecture and envisioned the spatial development of kogei crafts. Thirty-eight diverse creators, including craft artists and architects, created 14 works, including collaborative pieces. A symposium was also held during the exhibition. Noetica was responsible for coordinating and operating both the exhibition and the symposium.
