皮ごと食べる種なしブドウ「クイーンルージュ」は、長野県限定で栽培される希少なブドウです。シャインマスカット譲りのさわやかな香りと、しっかりした甘みが魅力です🍇

At Bluebell Cottage, we serve fresh fruits with breakfast every morning. This morning's fruit dish featured two varieties originated in Nagano Prefecture.
"Wasser" —a hybrid of peach and nectarine—is a unique fruit with the flavour of a peach and the refreshing acidity of a nectarine. Its flesh is firm and satisfying to eat.
"Queen Rouge" is a rare, seedless grape variety grown exclusively in Nagano Prefecture. It is favoured for its refreshing aroma that comes from Shine Muscat and its rich sweetness.
”Shinshu" (Nagano Prefecture) is a treasure trove of delicious fruits.
If you visit Shinshu, be sure to taste the wonderful fruits the region has to offer.

昨日は土用の丑の日でしたので、ディナーの前菜の一皿にウナギの赤ワイン煮をお出ししました👨‍🍳
Yesterday was the day of Ox during the Doyo period (18 days before the summer solstice), so we served eel cooked in red wine as an appetizer dish of the dinner, observing Japanese tradition.

巣立ったばかりのひな鳥は親鳥からエサをもらうので、ブルーベルコテージの周りでも幼いひな鳥たちがにぎやかに鳴いています🐥

May and June are breeding season for small birds. Baby birds are fed by their parents for some days after leaving the nest, and Bluebell Cottage is surrounded by lively chirping voices of the fledglings. A baby willow tit was waiting for its parents at an unusual place this day.

Gosensui Natural Garden in May is beautifully covered with bright young greens and pale-pink rhododendron flowers. The view of mountains over Megami Lake from Megami Terrace 1830 is also refreshing.
