Had the pleasure of hosting Novell Allen and his group at my Nishi-Ikebukuro home. They came from the U.S., originally from Jamaica, to watch the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. Maybe their cheering worked—Jamaican athletes have been shining bright on the track! 🌍🇯🇲✨

We welcomed Andy’s lovely family from Jakarta, Indonesia to our place in Ōji! The night before checkout, they had trouble opening the dryer door. I stopped by the next morning—it was just a bit stiff, but opened easily! So glad they could get their clothes out in time. Their kids also enjoyed the ice cream treat I brought. Next stop: Hokkaido! Hope they have a great time in the cool weather!

Arriving early? You can drop off your luggage after 12:00 PM on your check-in day inside the entrance area. Please be sure to keep valuables with you, as we can’t take responsibility for any lost or damaged items. For peace of mind, station coin lockers are a great option!

After check-out, unfortunately, we’re unable to hold luggage due to cleaning and prep for the next guests. Thanks for your understanding 🙏 Coin lockers at nearby stations are super convenient if you want to explore a bit more before heading out!

Welcoming a lovely group of 5 women from Thailand to my Hirai house!
It’s a perfect fit for five guests—each gets their own bed, and it feels cozy but not crowded.

As Japan enters rainy season, I visited today to help with some small issues—mosquitoes, drain smell, and fruit flies. I brought cleaning and insect-repellent items and took care of the bugs myself.
I also added more welcome snacks—they loved the peanut treats! In return, they gave me Thai snacks and even mint nose sticks.

Such a fun and warm group. Wishing them a joyful stay for the next two weeks!

Visiting Tokyo? Getting to our cozy Oji apartment is simple!
From Haneda Airport, take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Tabata, then take the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line to Oji Station.
From Narita Airport, take the Keisei Skyliner to Nippori, then transfer to the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line to Oji Station.
Both routes take about one hour to reach the apartment.
From Oji Station, it’s just a 5-minute walk to your comfortable stay, near parks, local eateries, and easy access to central Tokyo!
