甲高い声で何かを告げるように鳴いて、梢の枝に一瞬止まり、またどこかへ消えていく。

せわしないようで、その一瞬だけ、庭の時間がふっと静止する気がした。

五月の中棚荘の庭には、名前を知らない草花もそっと顔を出している。
温泉につかって、縁側に腰を下ろして、鳥の声に耳を澄ます。

そういう時間が、ここにはある。

過去に仕込まれたオリジナルワインから1本を選び、醸造家・富岡隼人氏を囲んで熟成を語り合う夜です。
料理に合わせてジオヒルズワイナリーのワインもご用意いたします。

翌13日（土）は、ジオヒルズワイナリーにて「シート・レインカット張り」作業。
房を雨から守るシートを一枚ずつ張っていく、秋の収穫を支える大切な工程です。
中棚荘の日帰り温泉も無料でご利用いただけます。

A little visitor has come again today — a Varied Tit, perched at the small feeder we placed among the branches.
Such a tiny creature, pecking away with such earnestness. You can't help but stop and watch.
In spring, Japanese White-eyes and Great T**s flutter through the garden. Summer fills the air with the song of the Bush Warbler. Come autumn and winter, birds of all kinds arrive in search of berries and seeds, each season bringing its own beloved guests to grace the gardens of Nakadana-so.
