The concept for Sakara Kyoto started over ten years ago, with an American/Japanese couple creating comfortable holiday rental accommodation in Kyoto specifically designed for foreign visitors. 久しぶりに友人と東山に帰ってきてくださいました。

京都府には、日本の伝統工芸を学べる大学があります。
そんな若きアーティストの卵たちの卒業作品展を
京都市内の伝統工芸館に見に行ってきました。

桜香楽　本店のお客さんに、時々ここの大学生の親子さんがお子さんと一緒に来られます。
うちの大学ちょっと京都市内から遠いんですよね
とか言いながらですが。
他県から、日本の伝統工芸を学びたいからこの大学に入りましたと言うお声を覚えています。

　
さて、今回、私独断と偏見のチョイスになりますが、
1番目を引いたのは竹ドレス
2番目はうさぎの着物
