Chogin Co., Ltd., a comprehensive textile trading company with a history of approximately 200 years, opened this hotel in Kyoto, the city where it was founded.
The name is a combination of "Gin," from the name of the second-generation owner, Gin'emon Kobayashi, who contributed to the company's development, and "Monde," which means high society in French.
As an independent hotel not belonging to a chain, it cherishes the warmth that can only be found here.
Located in the city center, just a 2-3 minute walk from Karasuma Oike Subway Station, it boasts a convenient location for both sightseeing and business.
