Water sprinkled onto a roji-path, the sound of fu-rin hanging from the eaves of a traditional machiya-house with its eel-structure, through which air and breeze could pass. All these nostalgic, summer images of good-old-days scenery in Kyoto can still be found in this city and will surely be recalled later with a memory of madeleines.

Cold sweet matcha green tea and An-madeleines
The balance of this sweet green tea from Uji, which does not disturb the aromatic scent of high quality matcha powder, is just exquisite. Your relaxing tea time will be accompanied with an An-madeleine from Umezono. It includes a bit of bean paste and mitarashi-sauce inside. This is a perfect integration of Japanese and Western confectionary traditions.
Facial soap
Each guest may choose one of seven kinds of soap, which are produced from exclusive Kyoto ingredients: black beans kinako, soy milk, sencha green tea, shiso leaves, hinoki wood, wines from Tamba (Northern Kyoto), and yuzu citrus.
