町家の管理者の一施設として町家の日に参加いたします！

どういったテーマが必要とされているかと悩みましたが、町家を管理しながら商いをさせていただく中で作庭やお庭の管理はなかなか個人では難しく、私も始めた頃は試行錯誤でした。

そこで今回は満きのお庭を世話してもらっている庭師さんにきてもらってお話しやワークショップを開催することにしました。
もちろん建物に興味があり見学してみたいという方も歓迎します！
お申込みお待ちしています。

①　知識を深める　町家の庭づくりのお話 -庭師さんに聞いてみたい坪庭のこと-
参加費　500円　
②　体験する　ちいさな苔盆栽づくり　-作ってみましょう、ちいさなお庭-　
参加費　2000円（材料費込）

After that, you can visit Shinsen-en Temple and admire the pond, the koï and a beautiful traditional Japanese bridge. 🎏

Kôdô : the way of incense 🧘🏽

Kôdô is part of the 3 traditional arts in Japan like the tea ceremony or Ikebana. It’s the way to appreciate the fragrance of incense and looking for balance at the same time.

Did you know that incense as 10 virtues according to a Buddhist monk, such as : purifying the body and the mind, creating balance or protect from the evil and negativity. 🤍

Here at Mitsuki we burn incense to welcome our guests.

Uji, the city of Matcha and green tea, is a great gateway during your stay in Kyoto. 🍵🫖

You can easily spend a day there and visit Byodo-In Temple with the Phoenix Hall and Ujikami-Jinja Shrine one of the oldest shrine in Japan.

Of course, don’t leave without trying some matcha sweets ! 🍡

While you are staying with us don’t forget to visit Kinkaku-Ji, known as the “Golden Pavilion”. A very well known World Heritage Site of Japan. 🎌

Also, I recommend you to go there around 3:30 PM, because there is less people and you might enjoy a beautiful sunset. ☀️
