🏮 伏見稻荷大社・宵宮祭（よいみやさい）

每年本宮祭的前一晚，伏見稻荷大社會舉行「宵宮祭」，也就是正式祭典開始前的前夜祭。

相傳，人們會在這一天點起一盞盞燈籠，獻給稻荷大神，表達對五穀豐收、商業繁盛、家內平安的感謝與祈願。隨著夜幕降臨，數千盞燈火照亮神社，也照亮了千本鳥居，平時熟悉的景色，在這一晚顯得格外神聖而夢幻。

隔天的「本宮祭」，則是向稻荷大神獻上正式祭典與感謝的重要日子，而宵宮祭就像是迎接神明、迎接祭典開始的夜晚。⛩️

🏮 Yoimiya Festival at Fushimi Inari Taisha

Held on the evening before the Motomiya Festival, the Yoimiya Festival marks the beginning of one of Fushimi Inari Taisha’s most cherished annual celebrations.

On this special night, thousands of lanterns are illuminated as offerings to Inari Okami, expressing gratitude and prayers for abundant harvests, prosperous businesses, family well-being, and good fortune. As darkness falls, the warm glow transforms the shrine and its iconic torii gates into a truly magical scene.

The following day, the Motomiya Festival is dedicated to offering formal prayers and thanks to the deity. Together, these two festivals celebrate faith, gratitude, and the enduring traditions that have been passed down for generations.

祇園祭宵山的最後高潮——函谷鉾「提灯落とし」🏮

隨著祇園囃子結束，
點亮整座鉾的提灯會在一瞬間全部落下熄燈。

這也象徵著宵山正式落幕，
迎接明天的山鉾巡行。

短短幾秒，
卻是許多人每年最期待的瞬間。

🏮 Kankoboko's "Chochin Otoshi" marks the grand finale of Yoiyama.

As the Gion festival music comes to an end,
all lanterns on the float are lowered and extinguished at once.

A beautiful moment that signals the end of Yoiyama
and the beginning of the Yamahoko Procession the next day.

📍愛宕念佛寺 Otagi Nenbutsu-ji, Kyoto

藏在嵐山深處的山寺裡，住著一千兩百位表情不同的羅漢。

有人微笑，有人沉思，有人像是在發呆，也有人彷彿正看著來訪的旅人。

這些石像並非出自同一位匠人之手，而是由參拜者親手雕刻完成，因此每一尊都擁有獨一無二的神情與故事。

✨ 如果有來嵐山，不妨來這裡走走，暫時遠離人潮，在靜謐的山寺中感受另一種京都風景。

Hidden in the hills beyond Arashiyama, over 1,200 stone disciples quietly watch over the temple grounds.

Each statue wears a different expression—smiling, laughing, thinking, or simply gazing into the distance.

Unlike traditional temple sculptures, these figures were carved by ordinary visitors, giving every face its own unique character and story.
