Just as a single stone can evoke the presence of an entire garden, the Geiseki is designed to inspire imagination beyond what is seen.

What it conveys and what it evokes are left to each guest’s own perspective, allowing everyone to experience and appreciate the space through their own unique interpretation.

The low, expansive round table is intentionally made larger than what is functionally necessary, creating a sense of spaciousness and quiet refinement within the space.
Like a stone or lantern in a garden, it is intended to bring a quiet presence and a subtle sense of variety to its surroundings.

The layered surface, made from several different materials and carved to evoke something hewn from the earth, reveals a character that changes with the light and the passing hours of the day.

April 17 | Taiko Drum × Calligraphy Session Event

Resonating taiko rhythms inspired by the theme of “an abundant harvest.”
As the layered beats echoed through the space, the brush moved in response, giving rise to a unified expression of sound and calligraphy.

The powerful rhythms evoked the breath of nature and the pulse of the earth.
Each fleeting sound transformed into shades of ink and dynamic brushstrokes, creating a moment where stillness and energy coexisted beautifully.

In the latter half of the event, guests were invited to play the taiko drums themselves, joining professional performers in an improvised collaborative session.
Feeling the vibrations through the entire body, it became a shared experience that transcended words.

April 13 | Kimono × Calligraphy Event

A special moment where the beauty of kimono and the art of calligraphy came together in harmony.

Through graceful movements, the kimono was gently untied and reshaped once again — revealing the layered beauty of texture and color created throughout the process.

In response to this transformation, calligrapher Souyu created a 4-meter spring-inspired piece on large-format paper.
Bold brushstrokes and the soft diffusion of ink filled the space, vividly bringing Japanese aesthetics to life.
