ゲストハウス馬巡り🐴
なぜかゲストハウスに馬の置物がいっぱいあります🧐
一つの理由は歩いて10分の所にある京都中央市場は以前競馬場だったそうです。生前ジョッキーをされていた近所の方に頂いた物。
後はゲストハウス開業時、友人のアーティストたちから頂いた物。でもなぜみんな馬の置物？と考えたら2014年2月7日、午年にオープンしたんですね‼️
オーナーですが12年ぶりに気付く友人の気持ちでした😱💦すみません🙇‍♀️
12年走り続けてこられました🐎
これからもまだまだ楽しんで走りたいと思ってます😍

A Little Horse Tour at Our Guesthouse 🐴

You may notice many horse figurines around the guesthouse 🧐
There are a few reasons why.

First, Kyoto Central Market, just a 10-minute walk away, used to be a racetrack. Some of the horse ornaments were gifts from a neighbor who was a jockey during his lifetime.
Others were given by artist friends when we opened the guesthouse.

And then I realized something—our guesthouse opened on February 7, 2014, the Year of the Horse‼️
As the owner, it took me 12 years to notice my friends’ thoughtful choice 😱💦

We’ve been running nonstop for 12 years 🐎
And I hope to keep enjoying the journey ahead.

When you visit, try finding the horse figurines 😘
I just watched The Loyal Family in a video—now I really want to go see real horses at the racetrack! ❣️

京都・初詣”馬巡り”🐴

午年なので馬の神社をまわりました⛩️
田中神社、藤森神社、下鴨神社。
計画では後2つ行きたかったけど、自転車で疲れ果てたので、後は今年中に行きます💦競馬の神様がいるんですね‼️
Kyoto New Year shrine visits — a “Horse Pilgrimage” 🐴
Since it’s the Year of the Horse, I visited shrines dedicated to horses ⛩️
Tanaka Shrine, Fujinomori Shrine, and Shimogamo Shrine.
I was hoping to visit two more, but I was completely exhausted from cycling, so I’ll visit the rest later this year 💦
I didn’t even know there were gods of horse racing‼️

久しぶりの休み＆快晴☀️
友達の宿「晴れのちもっと晴れ」に、赤ちゃんを見に行きました👶💕
（猫の豆くんも元気🐱❣️）

親子くらい年下のふたりだけど、宿に養鶏、米・野菜づくり、新しい家とカフェと工房までDIY…！
赤ちゃんが生まれても前向きパワー全開で、眩しすぎる✨

おかげで、とってもあったかい時間を過ごせました

I finally had a day off—and the weather was perfect! ☀️
I went to my friends’ guesthouse, “Hare nochi Motto Hare,” to meet their new baby 👶💕
(and their cute cat, Mame, too! 🐱❣️)

They’re much younger than me, but they run a guesthouse, raise chickens, grow rice and veggies, and are DIY-building their new house, café …all while caring for a newborn! Their positive energy is truly inspiring ✨
We had such a warm, heart-filling time with them ❤️
