The Ayame and Fuji Suite rooms at Hotel Ethnography Kanazawa are fitted with large lanterns as the main decorative piece. Masterfully crafted by Takahashi Chochin, the company known for producing the large lantern found at Asakusa’s Kaminarimon Gate, the lanterns exude a soothing and peaceful atmosphere.

One of Japan's most famous gardens, it is one of those rare locations where the garden's beauty and charm remain constant throughout the seasons. During winter times the focal point for visitors would be the Kenrokuen 200 year old pine tree and the cone shaped system of ropes put in place to support its brunches under the weight of snow.
