KG＋2023にてタッセルホテルで展示をしていただいた写真家・鷹巣由佳さんが、今年度はGOOD NATURE STATION 4F GALLERYにて開催中のKG＋に参加されています。
写真と廃材を組み合わせ、記憶や時間の痕跡を繊細に表現する鷹巣さんの作品と柔らかな布にプリントした展示はとてもユニークで見る人それぞれに異なる風景や感情を呼び起こします。
かつて“不要なもの”として扱われていた素材たちが、新たな視点によって再び命を宿し、静かに物語を語りかけてくるような展示です。
京都の街歩きとともに、ぜひ足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。

Photographer Yuka Takasu, who previously exhibited at Tassel Hotel during KG+ 2023, is participating once again in this year’s KG+ exhibition at GOOD NATURE STATION 4F GALLERY.
Combining photography with reclaimed materials, Takasu’s works delicately express traces of memory and time, evoking different landscapes and emotions in each viewer.
Materials once regarded as “unnecessary” are given new life through a fresh perspective, creating an exhibition that quietly tells layered and reflective stories.

「時間の破片を繋ぎなおす」
写真（光）と廃材（物質）を等価に扱い、再生を単なるエコロジー的主題ではなく、記憶の再編、風景の再構築、そして存在の循環的な在り方として提示する試みである。
造園で発生する木の端材、剪定された枝、常滑の海岸で流れ着いた陶片など、本来は“ゴミ”として捨てられる存在を、写真作品と組み直すことで、時間性・土地性・記憶の層を視覚化する。

Re-membering the Temporal Fragments
Treating photography (light) and waste materials (matter) as equivalents, this work attempts to present regeneration not simply as an ecological theme, but as a reorganization of memory, a reconstruction of landscape, and a cyclical form of existence. By recomposing what would normally be discarded as “garbage” — wood offcuts from landscaping, pruned branches, and pottery shards washed up on Tokoname’s coast — into photographic works, the artist visualizes layers of time, place, and memory.
While photography typically serves as a form of “record,” here the material itself becomes the recording medium, and traces left by the sea, wind, soil, and human actions emerge as strata that transcend the photographic frame. As a result, the work is regenerated as a collective archive of the landscape, confronting viewers with the question, “What is lost and what is returning?”

KG＋2024年にタッセルホテルにて展示をしていただいた 伊藤 妹 さんが、今年は 松栄堂 薫習館 にてKG+に参加展示されています。
タッセルホテルでの展示では、ご出身である函館を撮影された作品をご紹介いただきましたが、今回はまた異なる視点で表現された作品群をご覧いただけます。

烏丸通沿いにある薫習館は、香りの文化にも触れられる魅力的な空間です。
京都散策の際に、ぜひ足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。

As part of KG＋ 2024, photographer Ito Mai, who previously exhibited at Tassel Hotel, is showcasing her work this year at the Shoyeido “Kunjyukan” along Karasuma Street.
At Tassel Hotel, her exhibition featured photographs of Hakodate, her hometown.
This time, visitors can experience a different side of her artistic expression through a new body of work.

Kunjyukan is also a unique space where visitors can explore the culture of Japanese incense.
If you are strolling through Kyoto, it is well worth a visit.

「新たな温度」
自分の存在すら曖昧になってしまいそうな揺らぎの中で、一体何ができるか考えた。
そして、せめて自分の手の届く範囲だけでも大切にするという決意に至った。一人の人間がその両腕に抱きしめられる人の数は限られているが、ともかく目の前に佇む人との間に生まれる温もりを確かめたい――それが、このシリーズを撮り始めた動機である。


A New Warmth
Sometimes, the world feels terribly unstable and unreliable.
In moments when even my own existence seems uncertain, I’ve thought about what I can do. I’ve decided to cherish the people within my reach—at least those I can touch. A single person can only embrace a limited number of people in their arms, but for now, I want to confirm the warmth that emerges between myself and the person standing before me. That was my motivation for starting this series.
