Today is the second day of the Yoiyama period of the Gion Festival's Saki Matsuri (pre-festival) .

Floats line the streets of central Kyoto,
and from dusk onwards,
Shijo Street (Karasuma to Kawaramachi) and
the surrounding area of ​​Karasuma Street become pedestrian zones,
creating a magical atmosphere as the Komagata lanterns are lit.

Since the temperature remains high even at night,
please enjoy the Yoiyama while taking breaks.
