以前から気になっていたこの建物「山中商会」NHKの放送で清朝の最後に様々な秘蔵の品が世界中に流れていく話が特集されていた。その品を一手に引き受けて購入したのがこの会社でした。この小さな石像もその後に見るととても雰囲気がありますねThis building "Yamanaka Shokai" had been on my mind for a long time. NHK broadcast featured a story about various treasured items flowing around the world at the end of the Qing Dynasty. This company was the sole buyer of those items. This little stone statue is very atmospheric when you see it afterwards!

廿日市市原の古民家カフェ「輪」ヘシゲさんとランチに行ってきた。速谷神社から少し湯木に向かった原に在る。杉の材料を沢山手に入れてご機嫌なシゲさん。今日メニューは葱とスターフルーツのスープ、ボロネーゼソースのパスタ、ジンジャーのクッキーと苦い珈琲。アマポーラさんのお料理はいつも美味しい。ボロネーゼの付け合せにサボテンの葉が添えられて。下り坂から見る宮島が霞んでいました。I went to lunch with Shige-san at the old private house cafe "Rin" in Hatsukaichi City in Hara. It is located a short distance from Hayatani Shrine toward Yuki. Shige-san is in a good mood after acquiring a lot of cedar materials. Today's menu included green onion and starfruit soup, pasta with Bolognese sauce, ginger cookies, and bitter coffee. Amapola's cooking is always delicious. The bolognese was garnished with cactus leaves. Miyajima Island seen from down the street was hazy.

浅原の朝日と夕陽が本当に綺麗。標高三百メートル足らずだけど、朝晩冷えます。変な所に蛇口を発見。カッコイイアメ車をfbから拝借この頃のアメ車が大好き。アマポーラさんと知り合えた私は幸せ者です。The sunrise and sunset in Asahara in Hatsukaichi-city in HIROSHIMA are really beautiful. Although it is less than 300 meters above sea level, it gets cold in the morning and evening. I found a faucet in a strange place. Borrowing a cool American car from fb, I love American cars of these days. I am a lucky person who got to know Mrs. Amapola.

山口県の特地町にある「柚木滋生温泉」大好きな温泉へ。ここの湯に浸かると至福です。身体が喜ぶのがわかるようになりました。お隣の阿東町に林檎農園に16園ありますが皆さんご存知でしたか？８月の下旬より11月の下旬まで様々な林檎が作られています。今日は紅将軍と言う知らない種類を買いました。明日の朝が楽しみです。
I went to my favorite hot spring, Yunokijisho Onsen, located in Tokuchi Town, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Soaking in the hot water here is bliss. I can feel that my body is happy. Did you know that there are 16 apple orchards in the neighboring town of Ato? Today I bought an unknown variety called "Beni Sh**un. I am looking forward to seeing them tomorrow morning.

岩国城へと三度目のトレッキング。麓の永興寺から登って行く。梅がとても綺麗。佐々木小次郎はこの地の人だったか。地層の褶曲が続く登山道｡どれだけの力がかかったのか？
Trekking to Iwakuni Castle for the third time. We climbed up from Eikouji Temple at the foot of the mountain. The plum blossoms are very beautiful. Was Kojiro Sasaki a native of this area? How much force was applied to the trail, with its continuous folds in the strata?
