今年も、ホタルの季節が始まりました。
ヤマアジサイやツツジの咲く景色を抜けて、月見台へ。

暗闇に川音だけが聞こえる場所ですが、夜にはやわらかな光が舞います。

良いお天気が続き、今日は暑さを感じるほどの一日でした。
木陰の涼しさがいっそう心地よく感じられる季節です。

この時期は、夕暮れ時もおすすめです。
日が傾くにつれ、空気はしっとりとやわらかくなり、どこからともなく花の甘い香りが漂います。

そして耳に届くのは、カジカガエルの澄んだ鳴き声。
静かな山あいに響くその音色に耳を傾けながら、ゆっくりと夕涼みを楽しむ時間は、この季節ならではの楽しみのひとつです。

新緑が深まる黒川温泉で、日中とはまた違う夕暮れの表情もお楽しみください。

Good weather has continued these past few days, and today was warm enough to truly feel the arrival of early summer.
It is the sea*on when the cool shade of the trees feels especially refreshing.

This time of year, we also recommend taking time to enjoy the evening hours.
As the sun begins to set, the air grows softer and gently humid, carrying with it the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers.

And if you listen closely, you may hear the clear, delicate song of the Kajika frogs.
Spending a quiet evening listening to their beautiful calls echo through the mountains is one of the simple pleasures unique to this sea*on.

若葉が風に揺れ、山々の輪郭もやわらかく映る季節となりました。「立夏」を迎え、阿蘇の景色も少しずつ初夏の表情へと移り変わっています。

少しずつ田んぼに水が張られ、新緑が陽にきらめくこの時期の阿蘇。どこを走っていても、思わず深呼吸したくなるような美しさです。

動画は当館から車で30分ほどの「城山展望所」とその道中に広がる「あそくじゅう国立公園」の風景です。この季節ならではの水鏡の景色もぜひお楽しみください。

The fresh green leaves sway gently in the breeze, and the outlines of the mountains appear softer in the light. As we enter “Rikka” — the traditional beginning of summer in Japan — the landscapes of A*o are gradually taking on the colors of early summer.

Rice fields are slowly being filled with water, reflecting the sunlight alongside the vibrant greenery. Everywhere you go in A*o, the scenery is so beautiful it makes you want to pause and take a deep breath.

This video features “Shiroyama Observatory,” located about 30 minutes from our ryokan, along with the breathtaking scenery of A*o-Kuju National Park along the way. We hope you will also enjoy the beautiful reflections on the water that can only be seen during this sea*on.

雨のゴールデンウィーク。
足元の悪い中お越しいただき、誠にありがとうございます。

新緑は雨に濡れて、いっそう鮮やかな緑に。
こんな日は、室内からゆっくりと雨に潤う景色を眺めるのも、また贅沢なひとときです。

さて、ご夕食は初夏の献立へと移り、先日、仲居と料理長による説明試食会を行いました。
里山の爽やかな季節の味わいをお楽しみいただけるよう、心を込めてご用意させていただきます。

苔むした屋根、静かな石畳、そして川のせせらぎ。耳を澄ますと、カジカガエルの澄んだ声も聞こえてきます。

As you walk through Kurokawa Onsen, you are surrounded by fresh greenery and gentle, tranquil scenery. This is the sea*on of Kokuu (Grain Rain), when soft rains nourish the earth and deepen the greens of the mountains.

Moss-covered roofs, quiet stone paths, and the gentle sound of the river. If you listen closely, you may also hear the clear song of the kajika frogs.

爽やかな風が心地よい昼下がり。
庭では、足元の小さな花たちが、ひっそりと次々に咲いています。見落としてしまいそうなほど控えめですが、ふと目に留まったときの嬉しさもまた格別です。

貸切露天風呂「六尺桶風呂」からは、向こう岸に藤の花が美しく咲き誇っていました。

春爛漫の山河で、どうぞゆったりとしたひとときをお過ごしください。

A gentle breeze makes for a pleasant afternoon.

In the garden, small flowers at your feet are quietly blooming one after another. They are so modest you might almost overlook them, yet the joy of noticing them is truly special.

From the private open-air bath “Rokushaku Oke Bath,” you can see wisteria flowers in full bloom across the river.

二十四節気「清明」の頃。万物が清らかに、明るく満ちていく季節となりました。庭の木々も芽吹きを重ね、やわらかな緑が里山を包みはじめています。

水の音、木々の揺らぎ、湯けむりのぬくもり。変わらず在り続ける風景の中で、ゆっくりと心をほどく時間を。

We are now in the sea*on of Seimei, one of the traditional 24 sea*onal divisions, when all things become clear, bright, and full of life.

この春、山河に新しい仲間が加わりました。

本年度は調理部に1名の新入社員を迎え、4月1日にささやかながら入社式を執り行いました。
山河らしい、あたたかくアットホームなひとときとなり、新しい一歩を皆で見守ることができました。

庭では木々の花が次々と開き、すっかり春の景色です。
やわらかな空気とともに、新しい季節がはじまっています。

この春の始まりとともに、心をひとつに、よりよいおもてなしを追求してまいります。

This spring, a new member has joined our team at Ryokan Sanga.

We welcomed one new staff member to our culinary team and held a small entrance ceremony on April 1st.
It was a warm and intimate occasion, very much in the spirit of Sanga, where we were able to celebrate this new beginning together.

In our garden, flowers are blooming one after another, and spring has fully arrived.
With the gentle air of the sea*on, a new chapter is beginning.

As we step into this new sea*on, we will continue to work together as one team, striving to provide even better hospitality.
