From HAOSTAY, Tenjoyama Park is easy to reach by ropeway.
In just a few minutes, you’ll arrive at a relaxed mountainside park with open views.

Along the way, there are playful photo spots, a small rabbit shrine,
and gentle spaces to slow down—like swings and lookout platforms.
From the raised lookout halfway up the mountain,
you can see Mt. Fuji on one side and Lake Kawaguchiko on the other.

An easy place to stop by for a light walk,
whether you’re taking a break or looking for a different view of the area.

From HAOSTAY, a short walk leads into a quiet forest path where three places are deeply tied to the history and beliefs of this region.
Kawaguchi Asama Shrine stands among ancient trees, known as a place where the surrounding villages once prayed for protection from Mt. Fuji’s eruptions and for safe harvests.

Climbing a little higher brings you to Tenku no Torii—the “Torii in the Sky.”
This viewpoint was created to honor the tradition of worshipping Mt. Fuji from afar, offering a line of sight that people in the past cherished as a sacred direction.

Farther into the woods, the trail reaches Haha no Shirataki.
The waterfall has long been seen as a purifying place where travelers washed their hands and spirits before approaching the shrine.
Its gentle sound blends into the forest, making it one of the quietest corners of the entire walk.

All three spots can be enjoyed on the same peaceful route starting from HAOSTAY—
perfect for a slow morning, an afternoon break, or a calming sunset walk.

HAOSTAY から歩いてすぐの森の小道には、
この地域の歴史や信仰と深く結びついた三つの場所があります。

まず、古木に囲まれた 河口浅間神社。
かつて周辺の集落では、富士山の噴火鎮静や五穀豊穣を祈る場所として大切に守られてきました。

少し山道を登ると、天空の鳥居（Tenku no Torii）へ。
富士山を遠くから遥拝してきた伝統を受け継ぐスポットで、
人々が「聖なる方向」として拝んできた富士山の姿を望むことができます。

さらに奥へ進むと、静かに水が流れる 母の白滝。
昔は参拝者が心身を清める「禊（みそぎ）」の場として使われたと言われ、
今でも滝音が森に溶け込み、歩く人の足を自然と止めてしまう落ち着いた空間です。

三つのスポットはすべて HAOSTAY から気軽に歩いて巡れるルート上にあり、

We tried the Mixed Fry Set Meal—
crispy pork fillet cutlet and a massive 20cm fried prawn, freshly made to order!
So satisfying and crunchy, it’s a must-try if you’re nearby.

The interior has a warm, retro vibe with a local feel.
You can also stop by the adjoining café after your meal for a relaxing break.
