Tale of Artisans Vol.20 “Tomoru”

This autumn, Shiba Park Hotel’s Tale of Artisans explores the theme of light through White Satsuma ware and hand-dyed katazome, highlighting two Japanese craft traditions shaped by skilled artisans.

A selection of related books curated by Ginza Tsutaya Books complements the exhibition and adds context to the techniques and stories behind the works.

From September 11 to 21, the 11-day Dara Dara Matsuri brings a traditional autumn festival atmosphere to the Shiba neighborhood.

Seasonal ingredients such as chestnut, sweet potato, and apple are featured in creations including Jasmine tea and apple brûlée, Chestnut pie à la Mont blanc, and Mitarashi sweet potato pudding.
