establishment, our hotel has always valued Omotenashi mind to become a hotel that continues to be loved by each and every one of our guests. With this renewal, the hotel has taken the opportunity to become a library hotel with a book collection centered on the city’s culture, people, and history. Today, May 27, Shiba Park Hotel celebrates its 77th anniversary, made possible by the support of all our guests. The hotel’s story began in 1947 as a dormitory for female students at Kyōritsu College of Pharmacy, later serving as housing for Allied military personnel before opening in 1948 as Shiba Park Hotel for foreign trade delegates. In 1960, it launched Japan’s first hotel-operated Chinese restaurant, Peking Mansion, whose traditional flavors continue to this day.

Rebranded in 2020 as a Library Hotel, the property now combines around 2,000 books with a space that connects people, towns, and history. We look forward to welcoming guests for many more years, offering memorable stays and a unique experience at Shiba Park Hotel.

本日5月27日、芝パークホテルは皆さまに支えられ、創立77周年を迎えることができました✨
心より感謝申し上げます。

ホテルの歴史は、1947年に共立薬科大学女子学生寮として始まりました。
その後、GHQに接収され、進駐軍女性兵士の宿舎として使用されたこの場所は、1948年に外国貿易使節団向けホテル「芝パークホテル」として開業しました。

1960年には、日本初のホテル直営中国料理レストラン「北京マンション」を開業し、伝統の味は今も受け継がれています。

2020年には、“人、街、歴史をつなぐ Library Hotel”としてリブランド。
約2,000冊の本とともに、歴史と文化を感じる空間へと進化しました。

これからも愛されるホテルを目指し、心に残る素敵な滞在をお届けしてまいります。

On the 1st floor of Shiba Park Hotel, a selection of Satsuki Azalea bonsai - among the most vibrant forms of Japanese bonsai - was displayed.
Vivid pink blossoms layered across aged trunks, revealing a graceful balance of strength and delicacy in the quiet atmosphere of the hotel.

芝パークホテル1階にて、日本の盆栽文化でも特に華やかな樹種、皐月盆栽を展示しました。

鮮やかな桃色の花を幾重にも咲かせ、満開の時期には樹全体が花で彩られる皐月盆栽。幹には長い歳月を経た風格が宿り、力強さと繊細さが調和した美しい姿を見せます。

静かな館内で、一鉢ごとに楽しめる儚くも印象的な皐月の美しさをご覧ください。
