Some new changes to improve guest experience

1) Decreased capacity, we are going to accept less guest this year. Less hectic at peak times and we have the time to have a beer or shred with everyone. So be quick to book a spot.

2) The legend Yoshi has been busy making some improvements around the hostel.

Due to decreasing our maximum number of guests and two years of no earnings, we have had to increase our prices see https://www.myokopowderhostel.com/bookings/ .
Thankfully not by much, so we can still offer a competitive budget option for those powder hungry riders who want to eat up the JaPOW especially for long term stays.

Returning powder monsters guests wanting to stay a month, send an email so we can hook you up with a discounted rate.

Our Kendama competition is happening this week, Friday 7th! SPIKE OFF 2020!! Head on down to NAMOSSA for 8pm to land some bangers. Free Entry (let us know in advance if you want to enter). Come down and cheer on your favourite dama-master!

Here is our guide to the tricks in our kendama comp on the 27th Feb!

The event will be held at Nomossa. Entry from 8 to 8.15pm. Competition starts at 9pm. Competition entry is free!

Competition is of knockout format. A trick from this list is selected at random. Each competitor has 3 attempts. Do the trick more that your opponent and they get a letter! K-E-N and you are out of the competition!

Don't want to compete? Come to watch and there will be plenty of kendamas to have a play with. See you all there!

Time to get your spike on! The MPH SPIKE OFF 2019 is just round the corner. This year our annual kendama comp will be hosted by NOMOSSA. We haven't got a date yet but we have finalised the Trick List so start honing those Lunars and keep your peepers peeled for more info!
