Situated in the heart of Nagoya in "Fushimi", Nagoya Kanko Hotel was founded in 1936 as Nagoya State Guest House offering their services to distinguished guests from within Japan and abroad. The hotel is easily accessible by Shinkansen ("bullet train") with its lines

from Tokyo, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima and Fukuoka as well as the conventional transit lines from "Centrair" or Central Japan International Airport, the prefectures of Mie, Gifu and Shizuoka all converging into Nagoya Station. Nagoya Kanko Hotel Lobby Decorations ~Weaving Time, Shaping the Future: Twenty-Four Presences~

In the first-floor lobby, we welcome you with seasonal flowers and a gentle fragrance.
As we transition from spring to early summer, the lobby decorations
are themed around “Clarity, Abundance, and Sowing for the Future,”
expressing the passage of time through the stages of “preparation, growth, and connection.”

Enveloped in crisp, clear air and soft light, the space fills with pure and vibrant colors.
The delicate interplay of green, pink, light blue, and light yellow
quietly evokes a new beginning leading into the future, along with a presence of new growth.

In the lobby, guests are welcomed by a vibrant cherry blossom display inspired by the theme “Japanese Sakura Pink and French Fuchsia Pink.”

Soft, delicate, and fleeting — the gentle pink of Japan’s cherry blossoms.
Passionate, vivid, and elegant — the fuchsia pink of France.

These two shades of spring meet and gracefully spread throughout the hotel.

A beautiful gradient of colors unfolds through the graceful blossoms of sakura and the softly dyed baby’s breath, creating a harmonious composition of seasonal hues.
Here, the aesthetics of Japan and the West blend together, offering a unique spring landscape found only within our hotel.

In addition, with the cooperation of kirie Fabbrica, a creative paper item brand produced by Suzuki Shiko Co., Ltd., we are pleased to present intricate three-dimensional cherry blossom kirie crafted from Mino Washi.

These delicate and dreamlike works express the dawn of spring—the beginning of a new season—through cherry blossoms illuminated by soft light.

The display will be available until around Tuesday, April 7.

Inspired by the legacy of Oda Nobunaga,Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu,
