アーティスト・イン・レジデンスプログラムにより選出された、画家・興梠優護氏が、2026年4月より約1か月にわたり、北軽井沢の豊かな自然のなかで滞在制作を行いました。

その成果として誕生したのが、インスタレーション作品「Λ（ラムダ）01」。

浅間山麓の移ろう光や夕暮れを思わせる絵画と、現地で採集した石が静かに響き合い、この土地の記憶や空気を映し出します。

滞在期間中には、宿泊ゲストや地域の皆さまとともに油絵ワークショップも開催しました。

北軽井沢の自然と向き合うなかで生まれた本作品は、現在あさま空山望のゲストラウンジにて展示しております。

Selected through our Artist-in-Residence Program, artist Yugo Kohrogi spent approximately one month immersed in the natural surroundings of Kita-Karuizawa.

The result is “Λ (Lambda) 01,” an installation that combines a painting inspired by the shifting light and evening skies around Mount Asama with stones collected locally.

During his residency, he also hosted an oil painting workshop for guests and members of the local community.

Created through a close dialogue with the landscape of Kita-Karuizawa, the work quietly reflects the memory, atmosphere, and spirit of this place.

“Λ (Lambda) 01” is now on display in the guest lounge at Asama Kuzanbo.
