里山に野鳥やカエルの声が響き、そろそろホタルの季節も訪れそうです🌿
引き続き、土日のみの営業となります。
6月は、6/13（土）を臨時休業とさせていただきます。
ゆっくりとした時間が流れるこの季節、
ぜひ美山の風景とともにお楽しみください。

新緑に包まれる5月。
水を張った田んぼに山々が映り込み、野鳥やカエルの声が響く、里山がいちばん美しい季節です🌿
5月も、カフェはカレンダー通り土日のみの営業となります。
また、GW期間中（5/4〜6）は営業はございませんのでご注意ください。
ゆっくりとした時間が流れるこの季節、
ぜひ美山の風景とともにお楽しみください。

May brings fresh greenery to Miyama 🌿
The rice fields filled with water reflect the surrounding mountains, while the sounds of birds and frogs fill the air — one of the most beautiful seasons in the satoyama.
In May, our café will be open on weekends only, as shown in the calendar.
Please note that we will be closed during Golden Week (May 4–6).
It’s a wonderful time to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

近くの公園で桜が咲き始めました🌸

3/29ごろにソメイヨシノが開花し、
3/31には枝垂桜も咲き始めました。

園内には200本以上の桜が植えられていて、
知る人ぞ知る、静かなお花見スポットです。
今週末から来週にかけて、見頃になりそうです。

里山に春がやってきました。
ぜひこの景色を見にいらしてください🌸

The cherry blossoms have started to bloom at a nearby park 🌸

The Somei Yoshino began blooming around March 29, and the weeping cherry trees followed on March 31.

With over 200 cherry trees, this park is a quiet, hidden spot for hanami.

They should be at their best from this weekend into next week.
Spring has arrived here in Miyama.

2/15〜3/15までの冬季休業を終え、本日3/21よりカフェ営業を再開いたしました。
引き続き、土日のみの営業となります。
美山では、満開だった梅の花もそろそろ終わりに近づき、桜のつぼみが少しずつ膨らんできました。開花は来週後半くらいでしょうか。

ウグイスの声が響き、トンビがゆったりと旋回する春の里山。
季節がゆっくりと移り変わっていくこの時期も、とても心地よいです。
3月・4月の営業日はカレンダーをご確認ください。

After our winter break from Feb 15 to Mar 15, we’ve reopened our café from today, March 21.
We will continue to be open on weekends only (Sat & Sun).
Here in Miyama, the plum blossoms are coming to an end, and the cherry buds are starting to swell.
The cherry blossoms may bloom toward the end of next week.
You can hear bush warblers singing,
and see kites gliding over the satoyama landscape.
It’s a peaceful time as the seasons gently shift into spring.

里山に、春の音。

3月に入り、THYMEの近くではウグイスの鳴き声が聞こえ始めました。
春の訪れを知らせてくれる、やさしい声です。

囲炉裏テーブル横の大きな窓からは、トンビが空を旋回する姿や近くに止まる様子を見ることもあります。

里山に滞在すると、特別な場所へ行かなくても自然がすぐそばにあります。

この動画は、そんな春のはじまりのひとコマです。

Spring arrives with birdsong in Miyama.

In early March, we begin to hear the call of the Japanese bush warbler (uguisu), a gentle sign that spring has arrived in the satoyama landscape.

From the large window beside the irori table, you may sometimes see black kites soaring overhead or resting nearby.

At THYME, nature often comes right to your window.

渋谷菜津子チェーンソーアート展「森で出会う木の動物たち」開催中😊

ますます大人気の菜津子さんのチェーンソーアート、今回は比較的大きな作品を中心とした作品展です。作品は販売もしているので、お気に入りをお家に連れて帰ることもできます。
外は寒くなる時期ですが、暖かいウッディなカフェで、木の温もりと動物たちの可愛い表情にほっこりするひとときをお過ごしください。

開催日は期間中の土日のみです。具体的には下記になります。
1/10（土）1/11（日）1/17（土）1/18（日）1/24（土）1/25（日）　1/31（土）2/1（日）2/7（土）2/8（日）2/14（土）2/15（日）

The exhibition mainly showcases large wooden works, and all pieces are available for purchase.
Enjoy a cozy moment in our warm, wood-filled café while meeting these charming animals.
The exhibition is open on Saturdays and Sundays only during the period.

1月の「本日のケーキ」は、スタッフAちゃん謹製カリンのクランブルケーキです🍰
煮詰めてルビー色に変身したカリンのやさしい酸味と、卵たっぷりのパウンドケーキ、ほろほろ食感のクランブルが重なった、相性抜群のケーキです。
店内では、渋谷菜津子チェーンソーアート展「森で出会う木の動物たち」も開催中😊
カリンのクランブルケーキは数量限定ですが、ぜひお立ち寄りください！

Happy New Year! 🎉
This month’s special cake is Quince Crumble Cake 🍰✨
Quince is a fragrant yellow fruit, similar to a pear or apple, but usually eaten cooked. We slowly cook it until it turns a beautiful ruby red, then bake it with rich pound cake and a crispy crumble topping. A perfect winter treat!
We also have Natsuko Shibuya’s Chainsaw Art Exhibition: “Animals in the Forest” inside the café — fun wooden animal sculptures to enjoy 🐻🌲
The quince cake is limited, so come early if you can!
