2026年9月2日㈬15時より、奈良ホテル西館がリニューアルオープンしました！
セレモニーの鏡開きでは、正倉院文様にも用いられる「麟鹿草木夾纈屏風（りんろくくさききょうけちのびょうぶ）」をモチーフにした、奈良ホテルオリジナルの樽をご用意。
ふるまい酒として、奈良の地酒「豊祝（ほうしゅく） 純米酒」を来館者の皆さまにご提供しました✨
このお酒は、西館のリニューアルコンセプトである「清澄悠然（せいちょうゆうぜん）」にふさわしい、澄んだ余韻と穏やかな旨みを備えた上品な味わい。まさに奈良の静かな空気を感じさせます。
「豊かさ」と「祝意」が込められた「豊祝」は、リニューアルという晴れの舞台に最適な、慶びに満ちた一杯となりました。
これからも奈良の地で、受け継がれてきた歴史とともに、皆さまに永く愛されるホテルを目指してまいります。

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., the Nara Hotel West Wing reopened following its renovation!
For the ceremonial sake barrel breaking, we prepared a barrel designed exclusively for the Nara Hotel, featuring a motif from the “Rinroku Kusaki Kyōkechi Byōbu” (folding screen depicting unicorns, deer, plants, and trees), a design also used in Shōsō-in patterns.
As a complimentary toast, we served “Hoshuku Junmai Sake,” a local sake from Nara, to all our guests.✨
This sake boasts an elegant flavor with a clear aftertaste and a gentle umami—perfectly suited to the West Wing’s renovation concept, “Seichō Yūzen” (Purity and Serenity). It truly evokes the tranquil atmosphere of Nara.
“Hoshuku,” a name embodying “abundance” and “celebration,” proved to be a joy-filled drink perfectly suited for the festive occasion of our renovation.
Moving forward, we will continue to strive to be a hotel that is cherished by all for generations to come, alongside the history that has been passed down in the land of Nara.
