Originally the grand residence of a village headman, this historic house is over 100 years old.

Restaurant Michi is a much-loved local restaurant in Nakagawa Town, and it’s not unusual to see a line outside!

Founded 45 years ago, this long-established restaurant serves classic Japanese Western-style dishes in a warm and nostalgic setting.

The omelet rice and hamburger steak are their signature dishes, but the Napolitan-style spaghetti and curry are also highly recommended.

The restaurant is normally open for lunch only. However, guests staying at Iizukatei can enjoy a special catering service, with dishes from Restaurant Michi served at the hotel.

Just a 1-minute drive from Iizukatei.

Originally built as a sturdy storehouse for important documents and valuables, Bunkogura carries a quiet sense of history.

Small, delicate pink shukaido flowers are beginning to bloom along the Shukaido Flower Trail in Tomiyama-Funado, Nakagawa.

Stretching for about 1.2 km through the forest, the trail is beautifully covered in shades of green and pink, offering a lovely glimpse of early autumn in the mountains.

Just about a 10-minute drive from Iizukatei, it makes for an easy addition to your stay.

The flowers are just beginning to bloom, with the best viewing expected from next week through mid-September.

If you’re planning a visit, be sure to bring insect repellent. Biting flies can be quite active on some days, so long sleeves, a hat, and other insect protection are recommended.

After enjoying the famous iwauchiwa flowers here in spring, why not come back and discover the beautiful colors of early autumn?

A much-loved summer tradition in the town, the festival brings together people from both Nakagawa and beyond for a lively evening filled with food, entertainment, and a wonderful local atmosphere.

Enjoy a variety of festival food stalls and soak up the cheerful atmosphere of a traditional Japanese summer festival.

Around 7:00 pm, popular Japanese comedy duo Kaminari will take the stage, followed by a beautiful fireworks display lighting up the night sky from around 7:30 pm.

Whether you're visiting with family or friends, it's a wonderful opportunity to experience a lively summer evening in Nakagawa and create some special memories.

8月15日（土）、すこやか共生館駐車場にて「那珂川町夢まつり」が開催されます！

夏の恒例行事として、地域の方々に親しまれている「那珂川町夢まつり」。町内外からたくさんの人が集まり、毎年賑やかな夏の夜を楽しんでいます。

当日はさまざまな模擬店が並び、お祭りならではの楽しいひとときをお楽しみいただけます。

そして19時頃からは、人気お笑いコンビ「カミナリ」が登場！
