[Revival of the ruins of Chausuyama Castle]
Personally, I am very pleased to hear that the shrine at the ruins of Chausuyama Castle on Ikuguchi Island has been restored with the efforts of local volunteers.
In 1342, during the midst of the North and Southern Court conflict, the Kobayakawa clan attacked Setoda, which was on the Southern Court, and fell Chausuyama Castle. It is also the place where the Kobayakawa clan, who had entered Setoda since then, changed his name as the Ikuchi clan, and rule began.
In the latter half of the Sengoku period, Ikuchi Kagemori appeared in history, but details are often unknown. However, his name appears in many places, including stories of revival of temples and shrines.
It's not just personal speculation, but I'm sure this person was doing his best for the island.
I would like to be grateful to this person if possible, so I have arranged the Onzo marks from the family crest of the Tomoe, which he may have done.
I do it on my own so I'm not able to output much, which is sometimes a problem. lol
If you would like to know more about Ikuguchi Keimori, please read this booklet "The Phantom Ikuguchi Navy" featuring Ikuguchi is available for 300 yen.

Although the altitude is not high at 184m, it has a wide visibility and a good view.
It's a low mountain on the island that you definitely want to climb.
