Osaka's iconic Tenjin Festival begins today, bringing two days of summer celebrations. 🎆

With a history spanning around 1,000 years, it is one of Japan's three great festivals.

Today, July 24, marks the Yoimiya (festival eve), followed by tomorrow's Honmiya (main festival), when the traditional procession of boats along the Okawa River takes place and spectacular fireworks light up the Osaka summer sky.

DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle is just a short walk from the Okawa River, and some guest rooms offer views of the fireworks so guests can soak up the lively festival atmosphere.

Starting August 6, our summer buffet “The World Festival” returns with an exciting new lineup 🌏✨

This time, we've brought together dishes and desserts inspired by popular favorites from across Asia, creating a menu that lets you experience the flavors of travel.

At lunch, enjoy our Bubble Waffle, freshly made at the live station and available exclusively at lunchtime. The dessert selection also features Asian-inspired treats, including Taiwanese Castella Pudding, Hong Kong Egg Tarts, and Kowloon Balls.

Dinner offers a variety of vibrant Asian dishes, including Lu Rou Fan, Nasi Goreng, and Yum G*i Tom (Thai-style steamed chicken salad), showcasing aromatic spices and bold flavors. Dinner-exclusive dishes include Cold Egg Tofu and Eel Cocotte and Fresh Fish Carpaccio (weekdays only).
