A part of the name of this hostel “sakura la” is an invented word by me, the owner of HOSTEL sakura la an.

When I suffered from breast cancer, I made friends with who also fought back together.

Their existence was my big source of power to fight against the cancer, and they became my preciouses through spending time together and encouraging each other.

And I started calling them “sakura la”.

Sakura always brings spring. No matter it’s a small young tree or a big old tree. It’s a symbol of the strength. The strength to survive winter year after year.

To me and friends, sakura is flower of hope and our reflections.

My precious friends seeing hopes in sakura.
Surviving another year and seeing sakura again.

“sakura la”.

I decided to use “sakura la” for the name when I decided to start this hostel.With my wish to make everyone staying with us our precious guests, “sakura la”.

A place for preciouses.

This spring of 2020 has been difficult.

But sakura is blooming.

Blooming to bloom again next year.

All difficulties always come to an end.

I hope sakura will bring spring and happiness to all of you and to all around the world.

And wishing to have a lot of “sakura la” here the next spring.

ホステル桜ら庵の名前、「さくらら」はオーナーの私の造語です。

私は、乳がん闘病の頃、沢山の同病の同士と出会いました。

彼女達の存在はがんと闘う上で大切な力であり、そのふれあい、励まし合いを通して互いに特別な大切な存在になりました。

いつしか、彼女達のことを私は「さくらら」と表現するようになりました。

桜の花はどんな時も必ず春を運んでくれます。小さくささやかでも、大輪の大樹でも。一年一年を刻み寒い冬の季節を乗り越えた強さの美しい象徴です。

それは、病気と闘う私達にとって、希望の花でもあり、また重なり合うものでもありました。

毎年、また一年生きて桜を観る。
桜に希望を託す大切な仲間たち。

「さくらら」

わたしは、このホステルを始めるとき、ゲストさんを大切な仲間と思いたい。そんな小さな宿をにしたい。そう思い描き、
「さくらら」の言葉を使いたいと直感的にきめました。

「桜ら庵」

それは、大切な仲間の宿。

2020は困難な春になりました。

だけど、美しく桜は咲きました。来年咲くために今年も咲いているのです。

困難は終わりがきます。

来年も必ず咲いてくれます。

桜ら庵が来年の春、沢山の大切な人達「さくらら」で賑わいうことを今は祈るばかりです。

なにより、日本中の桜が、世界中の人の春、幸になりますように、心から祈り信じます。
