At Wabisabi Isurugi Kashiwaya,
a private one-group-per-day inn surrounded by quiet satoyama scenery,
stillness is part of the stay.
Into this calm space,
a Toyama Bay Sushi certified master visits exclusively for our guests,
preparing sushi with the freshest catch of the day, right in front of you.
The movement of the chef’s hands,
and the stillness of the house.
A moment where both quietly coexist.
To accompany the sushi,
we offer a bottle of UO, a sake developed to pair with Toyama Bay seafood,
and a handcrafted local soy sauce made in Oyabe for over 100 years.
This experience is our way of sharing
what makes Toyama special, not through words,
but through time, taste, and atmosphere.
