🚐🇯🇵 A Different Kind of Japanese Summer
Our summer trip in Japan turned into an experience we never expected.

We drove our Roam & Roll Campervan from Tokyo to Lake Motosu, where we joined the FOLBOT OWNERS Meeting 2026 a weekend surrounded by SUP, kayaking, camping, sauna, music, and Japan’s beautiful summer outdoors.

A big thank you to ロビンアウトドアベース for introducing us to this community and joining us on the trip. It was such a great way to discover a different side of Japan not just visiting places, but actually meeting and spending time with local Japanese outdoor enthusiasts.

From paddling on the lake and cooking at the campsite to relaxing in the sauna and sleeping in the campervan, every part of the weekend felt easy, fun, and genuinely local.

And waking up early the next morning for a SUP session with Mt. Fuji in the background? Definitely one of those moments we’ll remember. 🗻

This is what we love about travelling by campervan having the freedom to go somewhere new, meet new people, and experience Japan beyond the usual tourist route. 💚
